Are these nickel free?

No, stainless steal contains nickel. Some grades more than others. The description says Hypoallergenic so they should be at least 316L grade (surgical steal) which has a low nickel content. My twins were having issues wearing cheap earrings but so far no problem with these.

The description says 30 pairs but when I want to place the order it says 21 pairs. Which one is it?

I ordered this item also and I didn't even notice the 30/21 difference but I did get 30 pairs of earrings and my order does say 21. Hope this helps and hopefully you get 30. I wish I could add a picture of what I got to you specifically.

How do these come packaged? Is there a base I can put them all back on to keep them in one place?

They come in one small plastic case, where they need to be turned in their side for the case to close. No good way to sort them out. They just slide all around in it. However the case is sturdy and has plenty of room for all of them.

are these earrings for sensitive ears?

No. We had a huge reaction to the backs of the earrings. Bloody removal
