Exclusive Medicated Fade Creme, 4 oz, with Niacinamide & Vitamin C

I love this fade cream! It evens my skin tone and helps keep my skin looking youthful!

I have been using this product since 2009, and it's one of the things that actually helps my face stay clear of pimples and keeps it clean. I know there was hydroquinone in it that they removed, and I'm a little disappointed about that, but it's okay. Yes, it's a very, very good product, and it's kind of getting more expensive now, but it was much cheaper when I first started using it. So yes, I'll definitely give it a five-star rating as well. In terms of concerns, this product is perfect for people with acne, instead of going to the dermatologist for all of those treatments that burn your face and scar your skin. I would say this is a perfect, perfect product.

I noticed that they have changed the ingredients and description on the packaging. It doesn’t read fade cream with sunscreen anymore and there is no hydroquinone in it and they added niacinamide . I am praying it’s just as effective. This is the only cream that keeps my face pimple free and I notice that without hydroquinone it doesn’t work. So I’m gonna try this new formula and give an update.

UPDATE!!!!!!! (7-24-26): Without the hydroquinone and sunscreen, this product does nothing for me. I noticed the cream itself didn’t look or smell the same, but used it anyway. I began breaking out all over my face. I didn’t know what was causing it. Then I decided to check if the formula in the cream had changed since I noticed the difference in smell and the consistency. The new formula does not work the same and my skin isn’t happy about it apparently! I will have to stop using it after using it faithfully for 16 years smh. If your skin is used to the old formula, DO NOT BUY!!! OLD REVIEW: Hasn't failed me yet. I've been using this product since 2010! I first bought it to use on my legs. I had scars and extremely dark marks on the back of my calves from eczema. I would never wear shorts or even shorter dresses unless I had leggings underneath. I was so embarrassed by how my legs looked. I saw this product at Walmart and started using it. Within about a month, I was comfortable wearing shorts and dresses! The huge dark spots had faded enough to be far less noticeable and gave me my confidence back! I also started using it on my face. Works wonders for acne scars. Years later, I'm unable to buy the fade cream from Walmart so I'm glad I was able to find it on Amazon. I gave it 4 stars because it was significantly cheaper when it was sold at Walmart. I was able to get it for $6 a jar. Going from $6 to $22 is extreme, but it doesn't take away the quality of the product.

Product works great with continuous use.

I am only giving this product three stars because I have literally used it for over 20 years. I have loved Clear Essence Fade Cream for such a long time. The product has changed. I understand formulas change and evolve but I feel like this product is not as good. The cream is not as smooth. The cream leaves a white residue on my face. Also, I feel like it is not as effective. I am disappointed. I bought two last time, I am still using it but now I have to place a moisturizer cream over it. In the past I would have rated this five stars and I hope I can rate it that way again but for now I will leave it at three stars.

There is no sunscreen in this one and the formula has changed. It leaves a dry cast on the skin and not as effective as before. I’m not sure if it’s real or not. It even smells like lotion.
