It is not waterproofed , it is just splash proof. I am writing this after using it for 10-12 times in rain. It do not prevent water from getting it to bag.

This is an absolutely bad cover. I bought it earlier and recently went out in rain on my bike with my laptop bag in it. My entire bag and laptop got wet. Luckily when I dried the laptop, it worked. Probably because there were other clothes in the bag which absorbed much of rain water. Then I tested it by putting water on the outside cover of the bag, the water was actually drizzling out of the inside very fast. Therefore, this is an absolutely bad quality product, do not purchase.
