can a 5 year old play this game?

The box says the game is for "8+" but I think anyone who can write their name or draw could have fun with it. The box also says it's unsuitable for age 3 or younger but I suspect that's out of concern for strangulation with the cord attached to the goggles.

I don’t know the exact number but ALOT!! Are use this at my daughters 10-year-old birthday party and the kids passed it around many times. And there’s still lots and lots of paper left. But if it ran out all you have to do is buy more paper at the dollar store, right? Easy peasy
