Very nice set for the money. Excellent after sale support. I’ve found two small taps had a little burrs in the threads and were not cutting perfectly. Reached out to customer support, and they sent replacements. Great experience. I recommend this.

Owned this set for a year and use it fairly frequently. It’s a nice set for the average to advanced category of users. It’s very helpful to have the correct drill bits per tap included- reduces risk of bits snapping or unsuccessful taps. As with ANY drill/tap bits, the smaller the size, the higher the likelihood of snapping the bit. If you use smaller bits, use a drill press. And even then, it’s risky. I’d stick to softer metals for the small bits, like aluminum. I broke a couple bits, sent them a message, and they helped me, no questions asked. They stand behind their product, and honestly, that’s worth the price of admission by itself. Buy the set. Treat it right and with respect, and it will last you. Get some cutting/tap fluid as well. So right off rip, I noticed there was some small damages to the carrying case. A couple broken plastic walls and some adhesive that didn't adhere properly. So can't give it 5 stars. However, with that being said the set is immaculate otherwise. I inspected every tap, die, and drill bit and did not find any damages or imperfections as far as I could tell. I really appreciate the fact they have a chuck rod in the set. That was something I completely missed when looking over this item before purchasing. The thread pitch gauges are pretty lack luster, hard to open and fairly small. Not going to negate any points for that though as I already have several thread gauges that are of much better quality and would use those in place regardless. This is just an initial review as I have not used the product yet. Once used, tested thoroughly, and an inevitable customer service encounter is established I will update this review with its final assessment. I am a full time CNC rebuild mechanic, so I can promise this set will be put to the test. I typically would not purchase a tap set, especially one with 4 flutes and taps that are not HSS but at this price point I couldn't resist. Every mechanic on here will understand the cost and hardships that come with buying and replacing taps. Stuff gets expensive! If I can get a two year warranty on this set and customer service actually stands by the replacement policy, Even if they dont cut like butter. That on its own would be worth it's weight in gold!

I got just what they promised. I haven't used it extensively yet but the quality seems good.

Very easy to use. I love that the taps I'll have their own matching drill bit. The quality is great especially for the price. I have used these for about 2 or 3 months now, and I do use them at least once everyday at work. It is a great, complete set from small to medium taps. Very easy to use, very good grip. I had one quality issue where the tap holder was defective, and after one email describing the situation, they sent me a brand new one. Later on down the road they even replaced a tap that didn't seem to work too well.

So far so good. Works great! I am not a fan of the ratcheting T handle. The selector switches too easily, spent a lot of time reselecting the direction.

Set seems very good. First attempt to use the ratchet… It fell apart. There was a small metal ring that I think should have held the ratchet wheel/gear/pin in but it fell apart right after I pulled it out of the foam holder. So no way to ratchet anything. I tried to get product support on the Amazon link but nothing works. I would really like to get that replaced so toolant reach out. I was able to use the tap to fix the thread using the rod but it was a lot harder. I guess I give it 3 stars for now as I could have gotten cheaper parts without the ratchet and the ratchet just fell apart and is useless as is. Otherwise the case and parts are good. Lower draw is hard to open and close but figure it is just the newness.

I wanted to post this preliminary review of the 127 piece Toolant tap and die set I recently purchased and that has just arrived. I am very impressed with the set. To be clear I have not yet used it and I will update this review after I have had a chance to cut threads. I have, however, examined every tap and every die in the set and I am very impressed with the overall condition and presentation of the tool. The threads on every tap and die are clean, precise and properly machined. The pitch and depth of the taps and dies threads all measure true. The taps and dies are also are very sharp. The exterior finish of the taps and dies is impressive. The case is functional and very well laid out. The parts are held securely within the case and the handle and lid latches work well. Now this is all as you would expect and should not be cause for a glowing review, however, I have been burned many times after buying tools that purport to be of good quality only to find they are garage. This set was purchased to replace a tap and die set from Vevor that I just returned to Amazon. That set was terrible. Every tap and die was defective and chewed up. So when I see a tool that arrives looking as good as the ads say it is and the pictures show it to be, I am pleasantly surprised. Of course the really test will be how well it cuts threads but I wanted to give credit where it is due. So far I give this set full marks.

I really love the organisation of this tap and die set but the drill bit’s are like toffee and are not the best for heavy duty work sorry. This would be great if you made a set from pig steel 👍

Great quality of a tool. The box is nice to organize everything. Very rigid and the tools feel premium

Worth every penny I've used the taps on the daily for home projects with clean threads. Bonus was a case to neatly store all my taps and dies ensuring they don't move while transporting

Good set for the workshop. The ratcheting feature is very handy. Great kit!
