First of all, please note this particular Medik8 Retinal Ceramide Eye Cream is intended for those who are already experienced in using retinal products, there are other versions available from the brand on here which are suited to new and intermediate users. The box is much larger than required for the size of the tube but that may be because there is such a lot of information on the box. Even so, the writing is very small and while the silver and white design of the box looks very slick and stylish, it makes the writing very difficult to read. The 15ml tube is small but you only use the tiniest amount on each eye (under eye and crow's feet areas, not to be used on eyelids) so it will last some time. The cream has an orangey colour but once applied to the skin, it blends in completely. It feels light on my skin and my under eye area looks more hydrated and a little brighter. Even as a regular retinol user, it is still important to build up your usage gradually when progressing to a higher strength or a different brand so I have started with the recommended twice weekly application for the first two weeks before progressing to every other night for two weeks and will then use nightly. Therefore, it's too soon to be able to assess the longer term benefits with regards to the reduction of lines and wrinkles and any lifting and firming of the skin. I have always been lucky to have never had any reaction to retinol by using as directed and this is the case with this too, no redness or irritation. Products with retinal/retinol take time to work so patience is key but if you are considering this product, you will already understand this. If you're new/newish to retinal, please do look at the relevant Medik8 product for you.

Ich nutze, wegen Spätakne, ein Retinoid vom Hautarzt. An den Augen wollte ich etwas schonenderes und habe mich hierfür entschieden. Ich vertrage die Salbe gut aber den Wirkstoff ja auch schon jahrelang gewohnt.
