Hours and hours of fun for both my 3 and 5 year old. Fairly easy for them to independently use, and there’s a good amount inside. Would recommend

I think I’ve bought about half a dozen of these kits in the last year alone. I originally picked one up for my own daughter because she loves anything sparkly, and it was an instant hit. She sat at the kitchen table for over an hour just peeling and pressing the foil sheets—she was completely zoned in. The main reason I keep buying them, though, is that the "mess-free" claim is actually true. Unlike glitter or paint, there’s no cleanup afterward, which makes it perfect for taking to restaurants or keeping in the car for trips. Because my kid loved it so much, this has become my standard gift whenever she gets invited to a class birthday party. It’s reasonably priced, and I know for a fact the other parents appreciate receiving a craft that doesn’t destroy their furniture. If you’re stuck on what to buy for a 5 or 6-year-old, this is a total lifesaver.

I got this for my daughter’s 5th birthday as she loves arts and crafts and this looked like something a little different for her to try. It’s really simple to understand and my daughter was able to do it independently. You choose the part you want to add to the background picture, place your chosen coloured foil sheet over it and rub to transfer the foil. There’s a good variety of colours, including rainbow foil, and we had more than enough foil to complete all of the pictures. You can choose which colours you want to use and how you want the finished picture to look, so although the picture itself is provided, there’s still plenty of choice when decorating it. The picture cards are also a decent quality. One of the biggest positives for me is that it’s a completely mess free craft activity. No glue, paint or glitter everywhere afterwards! We did have an issue with the foil transfer though. Sometimes the foil sheet became quite stuck to the picture. Even when we removed it slowly, the foil didn’t always transfer cleanly and could be quite patchy. On a couple of occasions it actually pulled away part of the picture underneath, which meant foil would no longer transfer properly onto that area. When this doesn’t happen, the finished pictures look really lovely and colourful. It held my daughter’s attention really well. My son also wanted to join in and considering he doesn’t usually stay interested in this type of activity for very long, he actually found this really fun too. Each picture/background is essentially a one use activity, so it isn’t something that can be reset and done again afterwards. Despite the problems we had with some of the foil sticking and transferring unevenly, both of my children genuinely enjoyed doing it. It’s a lovely little mess free craft activity and I’d happily buy another set/theme for them to do.

My grand children love these, and it keeps them occupied for quite some time

Bought as a gift for daughters school friend who was so happy and excited to use over the summer holidays. Didn’t get to use it myself but it looked like a great quality item for kids who love crafts. Happy with my purchase

Pretty design and concept but cannot really transfer the color. Cant seem to figure out how does this work.

I have brought 3 boxes of the foil gun as it is so good, you get a decent amount of foil sheets and 10 boards and loads of sticky foam pieces. It is easy to use (some tidy up when peeling the foam). I will keep buying these are they keep the kids entertained for about 45mins/1hr. It’s great for giving as a gift.

Great way to share time with your grandchildren and family. We have used this for our family vacation and on rainy days with our granddaughter and it was so fun and relaxing and allowed us to have some creativity. I would highly recommend this product for kids who are 6 years old and older.

I have purchased this for our youngest (3) and she absolutely loved it, she can really unleash her creativity with this activity and was playing for hours per day. Interestingly our 10 year old sat down and watched her and then got so into it! I was surprised at how much he enjoyed it, I think this is good for all ages to be honest.

Srsly underrated, if your kid has a craft / artistic streak, they may spend days on this.. or more! A lot of creativity extracted by this one, my daughter coming up with very cool ways using it. Recommended.

Granddaughters LOVE it! Creative fun and no mess. Will be buying other sets!
