BlackVue’s unique Intelligent Parking Mode is ideal if you worry about hit-and-runs, theft or vandalism while your vehicle is parked and left unattended. The DR970X-2CH LTE automatically switches to Parking Mode when the ignition is switched off, and will continue to monitor you’re your vehicle, recording and storing events for review later – or alerting you in real time via the BlackVue App. The DR970X’s in-built power management circuitry ensures that your camera will never deplete your vehicle’s battery when operating overnight, switching-off should the car’s battery level drop below a pre-set level. For extended recording times simply add a Power Magic Ultra Battery B-130X. The DR970X-2CH LTE supports two Parking Mode options, Motion and Impact Detection, and Time Lapse. Motion and Impact detection mode uses your cameras image sensor to detect movement, and the inbuilt accelerometer/G-sensor to detect bumps or impacts. To reduce the number of unwanted recordings triggered by motion and movement, the DR970X can specify areas to ignore, eliminating recordings triggered by things like swaying trees, far-away moving objects, etc. In Time Lapse mode, to reduce the size of the video files and save SD card space, the camera will continuously record at just 1FPS (one frame per second), rather than the standard. All event clips however are recorded at full resolution. A standard 64GB microSD card can store over 72hrs of time lapse video at the highest (Extreme) video quality level. The BlackVue app for iOS and Android is free to download and use and allows you to conveniently control your dash cam from your smartphone. Access your camera’s configuration settings, video files and use camera Live View for easy set-up and positioning of the DR970X-2CH LTE in your vehicle. The app also controls BlackVue Cloud and its unique set of connected features including Emergency Notifications, Live View, Video Back-Up and Real Time Tracking. BlackVue Viewer for Windows and Apple Mac is free to download and allows you to easily configure your camera’s settings and view video clips. Access recordings on your camera’s microSD card, simultaneously viewing front and rear camera footage, moving maps and GPS data including time, date and speed. All video clips are listed by date, time and recording mode (Normal, Parking, Event, etc.), making it simple to quickly identify and archive important footage. BlackVue Viewer also provides access to your camera’s settings, as well as the ability to update your dashcam’s firmware when necessary. Viewer also allows you to connect to your DR970X-2CH LTE remotely, accessing Live View, Real Time Tracking etc., anytime and anywhere.

Loverly product. But the much needed App is very poor & Smarty SIM missing. LIVE FEED DOES NOT WORK.
Re: Loverly product. But the much needed App is very poor & Smarty SIM missing. I only purchased the LTE version (SIM) so I could access the live feeds. Disappointingly it hardly ever works. When you contact BlackVue, there’s always an excuse. Plenty of other cameras on the market with better picture quality, better App, if you can live without the NON-WORKING SIM live feed……The camera has been fitted for just over a month. The Live Feed has only worked intermittently since then. I have countless Email to BlackVue customer support, with excuse after excuse, as to why it’s not working. I even took the car back to the Auto Electrician, who checked out all connections. So with 100% certainty that it’s not a power issue.BlackVue have suggested that I remove both front and rear cameras that I had professionally fitted and return at my own expense and time to undergo extensive tests……I am currently chatting with Amazon…..and have been for nearly an hour. At first I was offered a refund. However when I accepted, I was told I would need to return for repair.I will update in due course . But my advice would be to seriously reconsider before you order a BlackVue product.NB: If you do purchase this product. Ensure that you have it booked for instalment prior to purchase. As I had to wait two weeks, which eats into your 30 day return period. Then I was messed around by customer support for a further 20 days, which has now taken me over the 30 day return period for a replacement . Now I have to return for repair even though it never fully worked.

Gps never works
Really disappointed with this camera. The quality is okay although there is a lot of glare or reflection from the windscreen. The app is a bit fiddly and you need to be patient to get it set up properly. The sim card is tricky to fit and can slip in the slot but once it is fitted it's fine. The main flaw is the gps. It worked once when I was testing the camera and had it outside of the car. Since mounting it on the inside of the windscreen it has never ever worked. Even on long drives in clear conditions. Simply nada. I think this camera will have a lot more to offer if the gps worked. The camera is now hardwired and to undo it all and send it back only to get the same result with the next camera..... its just really poor. As for the customer support.. what a joke they just send you links to the information you already have access to and they don't address the specific problems. Not happy paying a lot of money for a product which claims to be a market leader and under performs soo badly

Great Camera - but blocks DAB radio
Be aware, this blocks dab radio in cars and lowers the signal. Its a known issue that has not been resolved and should really be noted in the description.

I purchased this camera only a few weeks ago as from Wednesday, the 5th of June Vodafone have just announced but they are no longer supporting any Blackvue dash camera . The information you are reading in the description is incorrect . Do not buy any Blackvue Cameras as the cam will shortly be disconnected in end of 2024 You have been Warned . Amazon give me my £600 money back As the camera is no longer fit for purpose . And you're clearly still trying to sell them ...

Product wasn’t new
Product what we received wasn’t new ,orginal box was open and the camera was broke at the front.Waiting more than 30days for refund.Disappointed so much.It’s like a joke.
