Let me tell you a little story about my experience with the Cusimax Smokeless Grill. I bought it about a month ago and it has become the go-to appliance for cooking meals for my family. Last Sunday, I was in the middle of cooking some delicious pork bacon on the grill when my son needed help with the door. He was carrying a huge broken picture frame and almost dropped it. Without thinking, I sprang into action, filled with instant fear. I quickly asked him if he had the keys, but he didn't. We rushed to drop off the broken frame and then ran to the back of the house, hoping that my teenager had left the door unlocked for once. Unfortunately, the door was locked. Meanwhile, the aroma of the perfectly cooked bacon filled the air, making my mouth water. We sprinted to our neighbor's house to borrow their phone, one for the spare key and another in case we needed to call the fire department. As we waited for both to arrive, I couldn't help but wonder if I had actually turned off the smokeless grill. The fire department arrived first and immediately tried to open a window, but no luck. They inspected the house and to our surprise, there was no smoke, just the delicious smell of bacon. It was a shame I couldn't offer them a BLT or a bacon and egg sandwich to go. Finally, the spare key arrived and we all rushed inside, expecting the worst. But to our relief, there was no smoke, no fire, just extra crispy bacon. I was so grateful for the amazing exhaust fan and the top to the grill that contained any smoke and allow it to pass through to the exhaust. Once we made sure everything was safe, we all laughed and joked, and everyone wanted to know where they could buy the same grill. Cons • Bulky design that takes up some space • Cleaning the components can be a bit of a hassle • Not completely smokeless due to leftover char when grilling. • Grill holes are slightly small, not allowing the char to also fall into the dropping plate chamber. (But have onion and garlic ready to clean grill when char builds up and you’ll be good to go) Overall This grill gets the job done and makes at-home KBBQ much more manageable. While it’s not 100% smokeless, reducing smoke by 90% is a huge win compared to filling the house with smoke. A solid option if you want to enjoy KBBQ indoors with far less mess and hassle.

I love this grill. It cooks GREAT! and i find it absolutely great for the price. I've cook chicken and lamb chops on it so far and the food came out wonderful; to me almost as if I was outside on the grill. My suggestion is to add a teaspoon of your favorite oil to whatever you're grilling.For my chicken, I heated it to 400, cooked the chicken on both side for about 5 minutes to get the grill marks and to seal in the flavor. I then turned it down to about 300 and started reading a book:) Turned it over twice and within an hour, done! Esy esy clen up as well. Great product!

It's great for lean meats, but anything remotely fatty like ground beef or ribeye has issues and the "smokeless" feature is nonexistent. I made a single steak on it and the kitchen was a smokey mess. And yes, the fan was on and all instructions were followed. Speaking of, the manual leaves much to be desired. For instance, the instruction for the water container is simply "add some water". Nothing about how much is actually needed for it's purpose. Visually it is gorgeous. I got the red one, and it looks like a nice, high end product. It gets to temp quickly and seems to have a fairly even heating surface. I haven't tried the griddle function yet, but as it stands it works well for the price, mainly for lean cuts. Just slightly disappointed.

I thought this would be something we'd use occasionally, just for fun, but it turns out to be so useful we never put it away. It lives on the right half of our stove-top. We especially appreciate the griddle. One of the best things it does is to sear meat for braising. That task used to take a long time and fill the house with smoke, but now it's a breeze. The large griddle surface allows all the meat to sear at once, very quickly. There's still a little extra smoke in the house, but nothing like before. Surprisingly, it's also wonderful for cooking eggs and bacon. I can do fried, scrambled, or omelettes with ease, and after a bit of practice, I'm turning out perfect eggs that cook in just a few minutes. We buy cooked bacon, and I like to drop a few pieces on the griddle just as I'm turning my eggs, and it heats them up to a nice crispiness. Breakfast sausage also cooks up very nicely. I've been making stuffed peppers on the griddle, too. I soften the peppers in the microwave briefly, and then stuff them, and let them go on the griddle until everything is done. It's easy to clean up. I tried putting the grill and griddle in the dishwasher, but it doesn't do a great job on them, and it's really not necessary. A quick rinse under hot water with the scrub brush, and it's good to go. The non-stick surface is exactly what it claims. I recommend picking up a couple of wide silicone spatulas to avoid scratching it. Speaking of non-stick surface, and two spatulas, you might find that some items, especially fried eggs, will skitter around when you try to scoop them up with your spatula. It really is that slick! So we usually use two spatulas, one to keep the item from running away, and the other to slide under it. You can also let the fan stay running after you turn off the heat, which helps to contain any smoke while the grill is cooling off.

Well, I have to say for the very first use, I was impressed. I cooked a steak for the first meal, and it turned out great. No smoke, and the grill worked perfectly. I've heard people complain about the noise of the fan, and it does not seem that bad. Easy to clean and vary versatile. I live in an apartment, so we can not barbecue on the balconies, and this makes grilling possible now. I would definitely recommend this product.........Ok, here is an update. So far I've done steak, homemade hamburgers, and pancakes. This indoor smokeless barbecue really works good, and again I would recommend this item.

We love this new grill. We use it almost every evening. Just moved into a condo and most BBQ's are not allowed on the balcony but this one is electric and with the water in the bottom it gives off the aroma of grilled meat and veggies.
