This is a great game. My students love it. It gives them a lot of practice building CVC words. They can play with a partner and check each other. It is easy to use and of great quality.

My kindergartners use these frequently for reading interventions. Great tool to use for early readers and writers.

I'm a homeschooling mom of 2 kindergartens who are learning to read. These arrived today and my kids actually WANTED to work on phonics! The wooden pieces are high quality, letters are printed on both sides so you don't have to spend time flipping them over, vowels and consonants are different colors, there are multiple wooden frames so you can work with up to 4 kids at once, the word cards are heavy duty and clear, and it comes with a cute little bag to put all the letter tiles in. I love that all the letters are lower case and are a clear font. This was sort of an impulse purchase when I was looking for a way to keep one of my kiddos more engaged, and this totally worked! Worth the purchase, for sure.

I’m a pre-k teacher and this is a good set that’ll allow students to practice blending. It’s a decent set for the price. There were no missing pieces. The wooden pieces could be slightly bigger but it’s not a deal breaker. There are two cards I most likely won’t use: fog (looks like pollution 😅) and van (looks like a rig). There’s still 58 other cards to choose from. Oh I also laminated each card.

I love the sturdiness of the cards and how durable the wooden pieces are. My kids and i love using them in our homeschool reading units. The storage pouch it comes with is super cute.

I’m still deciding if I’m going to keep this product or not. Some of the pictures are very out there. What I mean by that is a young child will look at a picture and won’t automatically think oh that’s a ham being sliced. Not nearly concrete enough for the age group this product is designed for. Therefore since I need this to be independent work while homeschooling with the other child in a different subject it’s not going to always work because I know the child is gonna come running to me asking what is this picture? But the main reason I am writing this review is because sellers on Amazon you have got to stop sending purchases in padded envelopes that ought to be coming in a box. The outer box of this product is completely destroyed so I will have to store it in something else. This is happening more and more often.
