This clamp is a good option for vertical uses. I have the Pedco Ultraclamp, which has no stated weight capacity. It seemed only good for action cams and light camcorders, especially if you use a magic arm longer than the provided one. I tried using it with a heavy duty Manfrotto friction arm and my Mixpre3ii with 2 l-mount batteries on the sled, and was disappointed with its holding power. Enter the Neewer heavy duty c-clamp. This thing also has a 4โ material clamp capacity and claimed 44 pound capacity. I believe it. This thing is solid and inspires confidence. There are loads of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes to choose from. A great value too.
