Lash Color Kit, Black Eyelash Color Kit with Natural Results, 8 ml

I was looking for a product that would make my eyelashes darker. I use hair dye on my eyebrows but it is not recommended for use on eyelashes. I have salt & pepper hair, including on my eyebrows & eyelashes . This really worked! Everything is included in the sealed box with clear instructions. This product is gentle and the color is natural. I left it on for 5 min & had no skin stains or irritation. My eyebrows look natural & my eyelashes look darker to help make my eyes stand out without wearing mascara. I highly recommend. I’m definitely buying again. Super impressed with this product. It’s inexpensive which is the first win!! It’s also very simple to apply. I will say even with a Vaseline coat under my eyes, I did still get some stains so be really cautious of application. Stains didn’t last more than a day and they were barely noticeable, I could cover them with makeup if I wanted to. I think I’m on day 16 since I first tried it and my color is still pretty black. Love this stuff, made a huge difference on my dark blonde hair.

I didn’t notice much of a difference in the color and left it on the longer time. And it burns so bad even if you don’t get it in your eyes.

I bought this to darken my lashes despite the product having relatively few detailed reviews and figured I should give all the DIY lash girlies the 411- because this product is sorely lacking in information. First of all, I have very little experience with lash tinting/dying myself, though I've been dying hair for about a decade now so I'm familiar with the principals. That being said, this set is IDEAL for beginners. It was super simple and easy to use- you mix the tint and developer with a 1:1 ratio in the little spoon they provided (which is a little unlike other lash tinting kits I'm familiar with as it's usually a two step application process), let it develop for a few minutes in the bowl, and then apply it to your lashes using the spoolies they include in the kit. I was incredibly careful not to get it on my actual waterline because I had read reviews saying there was some mild to severe burning, though I did not find that to be the case. It burned a little when it came time to rinse off the product, but that was expected because I had also loaded vaseline onto my eyelid to prevent staining and that, naturally, doesn't feel great in your eyeball. I also saw it was recommended to do one eye at a time, but I didn't find that to be necessary either- I did both at the same time and kept my eyes open and it wasn't a problem. After applying the tint, the package recommends letting it set for about eight minutes, though I'm a brunette and I wanted extra dark, extra long-lasting color so I left it for about twelve minutes. It does stain skin if you're not careful, and it is not easy to get off. As far as lash color goes, I'd say it's pretty decent. They're definitely black and it colored the roots and tips of my lashes like I wanted. Which is great! I would say the downside of this product is the instructions are barely there (two sentences on the box) and not super helpful if you aren't already familiar with the basics of lash tinting. So that's annoying. But the color is good, and I'll update again later to speak on the longevity. In short: good coloring, questionable longevity, little to no burning, and easy application even without instructions. There's enough in the box to last me probably about 8+ lash tints, so it's good value for money. Pro-tip: curl your lashes before applying! Makes it so much easier to see where the color is depositing and allows you to do both eyes at once, keeping them open.

My friend told me about this product because we do things on our own rather then spending an arm and leg. It works great. And lasts more than a month for me!

Super easy to use and actually was noticeable. I wear mascara (only top lashes) and eyeliner everyday but after using this, a girl at work said, Oh hey! You wore makeup today! I said, I wear makeup everyday; not much, but I do. That’s when she thought I must’ve cut my hair. Hahaha.. turns out it was just because my bottom lashes were significantly darker than usual so it looked like I had more makeup on. I guess it works when people see a difference, for the better, but can’t put their finger on it.

When I first apply it, that first day or two, my eyebrows look exactly how I want them to look. But then the color fades rapidly. I reapplied hoping it would last longer and maybe I applied it wrong the first time, but I kept it for longer than it says to keep the product on, and then it still faded by day 2 or 3. I really like how it comes out, but I’m very disappointed at how long it lasts. I was really hoping even 2 weeks that my eyebrows would stay dark enough. So maybe if you’re going on a weekend trip this is amazing. But doesn’t last long enough to save me time every morning when I’m getting ready for work because it only last a few days.
