Pocket Hose 50 FT Copper Bullet Hose, 10-Pattern, 650psi

I love these pocket hoses. I'm old and simply can't huff around a heavy hose anymore and these are easy to lug around. I've purchased several over the years and have to say they are not that durable. I bring them into a heated space every winter to extend their durability, but still have to replace them every 2 years or so as they do tend to spring a leak after that period of time. I don't care - it's worth spending the money to get the lightweight hose. I also LOVE the new thumb drive as that's MUCH easier on my arthritic hands than the old style sprayers. And, I LOVE the shut off valve. I always drain the water out of the hose after using it to (again) extend durability (relieving the water pressure helps). With the shut off valve, I have these hooked up to a regular old fashioned hose (just because I have them) and leave water pressure in the regular hose, but shut it off before it gets into the pocket hose. You do have to watch out that you don't scrape the hose (it's fabric) against a sharp surface as that tears holes in the fabric covering.

Great hose. Actually kind of fun to use to watch it shrink and expand! My aunt had one, swears by it, took me a while to bite the bullet with the price, but I’ll be buying another one and even giving one as a present to my gardener friend! In the beginning this was a god sent. It is lightweight and so easy to take to the 50 feet of extension. With rubber I don’t have the strength to even pull to my watering location. I purchased 2 they are so wonderful. The only problem is the hose has sprung a leak in the mesh. I searched for a solution and Amazon recommended take or adhesive. Not too impressed with that. It had a 30 day return but it’s been 2 years. I still love the concept

I bought the 100’ and it’s so light and easy to carry all over the and super easy to roll back up. However, trying to use a sprinkler with it is ineffective (it will be 1/2 the height as with a normal hose) and it only lasted 1-1/2 summers and then sprung a couple of holes. Also, a lot of foam comes out of this hose (it doesn’t advertise as drinkable) so I would not fill dog water dishes or water your vegetables with this hose. There are other flexible hoses that specifically say Drinkable. So if you don’t want to use it with a sprinkler and are okay buying a new one every 1-2 years, it’ll be great.

Love this hose. Well made and good looking. Dont' know how long the plactic head will last, but meanwhile it offers nice water flow in a nice variety of sprays. The copper look is nice on the ground. The hose is a good mean between strenght and flexibility. Best explandable hose I've had, and I've had many.

I Love this hose! It’s light weight and so easy to handle - something I have to have as an 80 yr old woman. The 10 pattern spray nozzle never leaks - another wonder! And It shrinks.back to a shorter hose when you turn off the water making storing it a breeze. No more lugging a heavy hose around. I have one that’s 2 yrs old and still great and this new one for the backyard. Make sure it’s the Copper Bullet because my relative got a copy that didn’t last long. Best hose I’ve ever had.

Works great! Appears to be good quality but time will tell. I love that it's easier to move around my garden beds and then shrinks up so small when I'm done with it. Also love the sprayer. I hope it holds up.

This hose only last one month! Inner lining ruptured and started leaking out. Never had an issue with a hose like this before. Too much money for this poor quality. Update 6/3/2026: BulbHead reached out to me and issued a full refund. Because of great customer service I am rating them a 4.

This is a great hose. I really like the handles and the copper connectors. The way it shrinks after use is amazing. I am glad I paid more to get such a nice hose.

I bought this hose because I am tired of winding up hoses and dragging heavy hoses around. It feels like a very durable hose unlike the retractable cloth ones I had that sprung a leak due to tears. The nozzle works very well and feels like good quality. The hose and head look very nice and do not detract from the property. The hose retracts and shrinks as soon as you shut the tap off. I would expect it to wear very well due to the strong material that the hose is made of. I would recommend this hose.
