DreamSky Wooden Digital Alarm Clock for Bedrooms Desk with Large Numbers

Love this clock. It really looks like there is no display so when you plug it in and it shows up, it's really neat. You can see a little bit of pseudo-grain in the numbers, which looks nice. The whole thing looks nice, like a little block of wood and it weighs almost nothing, even with a couple AAA backup batteries installed. Big display but fairly small unit. Makes for a good decoration. The alarm sound has good volume. Volume starts low and ramps up with each buzz until full volume. Snooze button is on top but it's not an actual button, just touch a touch sensitive spot on top that has the word snooze. Any button pressed on the back will turn off the alarm (those are actual buttons on the back). Display brightness ranges from off to barely seeing it to full brightness as you see in the pictures. No more having to manually change time for daylight savings time, just press the DST button and it will jump an hour for you. If DST is currently in effect, it will display a small DST on the display. Has a button to choose either standard or military time. I've had it plugged in for over an hour now and unlike the heater of an alarm clock it's replacing, it is cool to the touch. However, I did unplug the power briefly to test the battery backup function, this is a bit disappointing as the clock shut off (I see now the store page states this clearly) but at least when I plugged the power cord back in, it didn't lose time. Also, the alarm will still go off though you can't see anything when it's just batteries and the instructions say that as the batteries get low that the alarm volume will be reduced accordingly. There's also a USB port on the back so you can plug in your cell phone or something else for charging. Mine came with an approx. 18" USD cord. In case you are curious, plugging it into my PC did nothing, it's just a charging port. Instructions with this are simple and easy to understand though the whole thing is intuitive so not much need for them.

This little clock was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it for my wife to place on her nightstand. I knew that she would not be happy with a large clock that captured your attention. This one is subtle, small and is a tasteful addition to the bedroom. I was perplexed when I first opened the package. I thought that I had gotten a clock with a manufacturing defect. There was no screen for a display. I connected it to the power supply and the time display "burst forth" on the front surface. I thought; "This is so cool!" To explain, when not powered up, the display side of the triangular clock looks just like the wood grain elsewhere on the clock. The time is only visible when powered from the power supply. Otherwise, someone not familiar with it might not have a clue as to what it is when it is off. I really like that feature. Another surprise. When I was learning how to set the brightness level, I was doing it in a well-lit room. It appeared that on the "01" brightness setting (lowest except for the "off" setting) was not working. I then turned off all lights in the room and the time display at the "01" was clearly visible. So, it the illumination setting at its lowest is very dim, but easily visible, which is exactly what you want if lights interfere with your sleep. So, don't make wrong assumption that I initially did. Of course, as noted in the description, the alarm sound level is also adjustable. It has a conveniently located snooze "spot" on the very top which is probably where your hand would naturally land when you reach for snooze to squeeze out another 9 minutes of sleep. The battery backup is nice so that you don't lose the time and alarm settings if you unplug the clock or have a power outage. However, you do not have to install batteries (2 AAA) in order for the clock to operate when it is connected to the power supply. (Be aware that if it is not connected to a 110V outlet, the batteries only protect the memory (time, alarm) and the display does not work until power is restored. It is also nice to have a USB port located on the back of the clock for phone charging. I like it a lot and am glad I chose this one.

I’ve been using this DreamSky wooden digital alarm clock for a while now, and overall I’m very happy with it. The design is honestly one of my favorite parts. The wood grain finish gives it a clean, modern look that fits perfectly with my bedroom décor and doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel a lot of digital clocks tend to have. It blends in really nicely with my room and looks much more stylish than a standard alarm clock. One feature I absolutely love is the adjustable brightness. A lot of LED clocks are either way too bright at night or too dim during the day, but this one gives you plenty of control. At night, I can dim it low enough that it’s not blinding or lighting up the whole room while I’m trying to sleep. During the daytime, I can turn the brightness back up so the numbers are still easy to read from across the room. That flexibility has honestly made a huge difference for me. The display itself is large, clear, and easy to read, even when I’m half asleep in the middle of the night. I also really appreciate the USB charging port on the back. It’s super convenient because it saves an outlet and lets me charge my phone directly through the clock instead of needing an extra wall adapter. It helps keep my nightstand cleaner and less cluttered. The alarm itself definitely does its job. The beeping alarm is pretty aggressive, and while I personally wish it had a music alarm or radio alarm option instead, I can’t deny that it wakes me up every time. One thing I do appreciate is that the alarm volume is progressive. It starts out quieter and gradually increases over about 15–30 seconds instead of instantly blasting at full volume, so waking up feels a little less harsh and jarring. Setup was straightforward, the snooze feature works well, and overall the clock feels reliable and well made for the price. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because I wish there were more alarm sound options besides the standard beeping. If it had customizable tones, music, or a built-in radio feature, this would honestly be nearly perfect. Still, for the design, brightness controls, convenience features, and reliability, I would definitely recommend it.

Best clock I ever owned. Keeps PERFECT time and is easy to set up. (I’m 90 years old). JUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I liked it so much that I bought another one for the guest room. It is a nice size and I like It because you can “dim” it before you go to bed. It does not keep me awake.

I like this a lot! The sound level of the alarm can be adjusted a lot. Also there seems to be a little ramp up into it. It starts a little softer than it's set before blaring. I love how dim you can make the display. It's not glaring at night, but you could set it much brighter if you'd prefer. The large numbers are clear to read. It's also intuitive to adjust the settings as well as having clear instructions/helpful symbols on the back to explain it. I like that you can have a backup battery in there. My only note is that the USB outlet on the back of it is definitely not powerful. It'll get the job done, just very slowly. My phone battery is pretty old, so that probably contributes. But just be aware of that. I usually use it for charging things like ear buds or a watch rather than my phone Nothing to do with this product, but I do miss a big old snooze button. It was so satisfying having to hit the top hard enough to depress a big button. This one, a featherlight touch to the top will snooze it

Het duurde lang om voor de klok om geleverd te worden. De webshop DELOVA LLC heeft, ondanks dat ze Nederland in de naam hadden gezet, een Amerikaanse adapter meegeleverd naar Nederland. Na wat berichten heen en weer over een oplossing zijn ze nu helemaal van Amazon verdwenen en zit ik met een onopgelost probleem. Lelijke reisstekkers of zelf een adapter kopen (geen standaard USB aansluiting). Eea bij Amazon gemeld, reactie blijft uit. Klok zelf is leuk, allemaal plastic fantastic, maar doet wat je ervan verwacht. Fijn dat het display te dimmen is.

Nice design, big numbers, and can me be dimmed completely. I just wish the alarm sound was less strident.

This is the best looking and most functional bedside alarm clock - ever! Love the woodgrain and the sleek design, but my favorite feature is that the numbers can be super bright or easily dimmed.
