The concept behind this is actually really good. The splash-proof design does exactly what it's supposed to do and helps reduce spills, splashing and the amount of water that somehow ends up all over the floor around a normal dog bowl. Unfortunately, this assumes your dog is happy interacting with the floating plate design. Mine quickly decided that the possibility of getting her paws slightly wet was simply unacceptable and treated the bowl with a level of suspicion normally reserved for vacuum cleaners. The bowl itself worked exactly as intended and I can't fault the product for my dog's personal opinions on water-related matters. If your dog is less dramatic than mine, it's a clever design and could be a great way of reducing mess around the house.

As promised, no splashes and our dog no longer gets his spaniel ears wet! Great product.

Nice quality. The float action works well to REDUCE the drippage but it does not completely stop it. There is a filter included but no indication of where to buy replacements.

Very substantial and sturdy, but my dogs wouldn’t drink from it! A bit small for my large German shepherd. A very good idea, but the filters are not easily obtained.

Brought this for our 11 week old Japanese akita as he was dribbling water all over the floor or tipping a normal bowl over. Saw this and thought, great, no spills this will sort the issue. It arrived and I couldn't wait to get it set up this was easy to wash and set up I think this is the only plus. There's a filter that apparently needs replacing after a few weeks. Put it down for pup to drink from great no spills. Next minute he comes to me with the top rim of the bowl in his mouth and he is soaked. He found it very easy to take apart after just a few minutes. Was pushing the floating part down to get water quicker and realised oh this moves so took it apart. Needless to say we won't be using this. It was not no spills for us. Waste of money as lid comes of too easily

got this for my miniature dachshunds due to one always choked on his water... it works awesome, he no longer chokes and no more wet floor...

This bowl works great and keeps your pet from making a mess with a regular water bowl. I read the reviews of other people saying that their dog can't get water out of it, well they must have pretty dumb dogs... My dog drinks out of it just fine and our cat has now started drinking out of it with no problem even though he has a fountain type water device a couple of feet away. It works as expected and my dog and cat are happy with it and I'm glad I don't have puddles everywhere after she drinks out of it or bumps it.

Bought this bowl because our cat started tipping the water dish, and because we have 2 dogs as well that drink from the bowl we needed something so they could drink during the day while we were away. Cat was intrigued at first, dogs figured it out right away. Now no water mess & everyone is happy. Good price but order the extra filters.
