It does heat up and feel nice but the smell is overwhelming and horrible and makes me feel sick! It smells bad!! Yuck. I get the worst headache and feel nauseous. Update - I immediately heard from the seller after writing this review. She was so kind and caring and offered me a full refund. She said the odor was from the fresh seeds and would dissipate with usage. I am extremely sensitive to smells, much more than most people. I can't be around any perfumes. Everything else about it is great. It is well made and the weight is perfect and the materials soft. (I'm very fussy about textures too.) It does heat up nicely in the microwave and felt heavenly to my sore neck.

This heating pad works really well and has become a regular part of my routine for relieving shoulder tension and easing headaches. It heats up quickly in the microwave, retains warmth for a good amount of time, and contours nicely around the neck and shoulders for targeted comfort. That said, even after dozens of uses, it still has a noticeable smell, not overpowering or unpleasant, but definitely still there. It hasn’t been a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to scents. Nice and weighted big enough to wrap around use it while I’m on the computer for sore neck or watching TV on my couch

The material is soft and fits comfortably around the neck and shoulder area. My son likes to use it after working his cows. It holds the heat well and has been used every day since it was delivered. So far it seems durable and it stays in place. I wish it had a better smell than it does, but it doesn’t stop us from using it. This item is so versatile and we’ve used it for neck, shoulders, and even knee pain relief. It’s a great value for the price and an item we love having in hand. I like that I can pick which side I want it on materiel wise depending on if I want the fleece or T-shirt material side. So far the fleece side has been my go to. With our microwaved we heated it for 1 minute on 1 side and went ahead and did another 45 seconds on the other and it’s the perfect temperature. It held the heat right around 30 minutes and the weight is the perfect weight for sore muscles.

Even after keeping this on the freezer for over 24 hours, it still comes out at room temperature (I do not understand how) Do not get this for a cold compress as it is advertised to be. The warm works ok but not when microwaved for the short amount of time in the instructions

This is my second purchase of this product. It is so durable & very easy to use. Just pop it in the microwave. I have never had a problem with leakage. Great if you have aches & pains that need soothing. I bought this second one so I could apply to two areas at the same time. Very comforting. Quick relief.

The heating pad works great and is easy to use. I did not notice any odor after heating the shoulder wrap as some people have mentioned. Nice not having to be tied to an electrical cord.
