Could someone give a link or more info on the refils/tape they've found that fits please? Thanks!

Standard 48mm & 50mm rolls of packing tape from all makers fit in this.  If you look at the product photos you can see that there is a gap between the illustrated 48mm tape and the side of the dispenser.  I been using non-Scotch packing tape in this dispenser for over a year.
Refills & their width are therefore not a problem.  But the dispenser itself is not very good.  The tape slips back onto the roll and it takes ages to peel off the end so you can start using it again.  
I've solved this by buying a new dispenser www.amazon.co.uk/Dispenser-Width-Adjustable-Lightweight-Ergonomic-Industrial/dp/B07GPFJZ6R which does stop the tape slipping back.  In fact, it's excellent and I wish I had not bothered with this one.

can you buy refills for the dispenser

You would normally by a full size  dispenser, with handle and refills can be bought for these. the inner dimension of the refill is (diameter) 7.5cm (75mm).

And to be honest I have both and for home use these mini ones with the throw away dispenser are slightly easier to use but slightly more expensive.

Unfortunately the recent ones I bought have a slightly thinner tape this time round

Question 3

Is this 48mm or 50mm The description here says 50mm but the dispenser in enlarged image shows 48mm. 48mm is no good if there aren't refills available.

This is 48mm and the dispenser is one use only, because there are no refills available... Pretty annoying and expensive, but the darn thing is very convenient, the tape quality great, and there are no similar things available (i.e. not the industrial sized brown tape dispensers etc) so I guess that's what they're banking on!

What is the length of the tape, many answers refer to the width but not the length.
