ESR for 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger w/CryoBoost, Made for Apple-Certified

I have used multiple AC vent mounted chargers. Here are two things that very good about this mount. 1. Steadiness / No vibration - Unlike other mounts, this doesnt vibrate crazy with the heavy weight of iPhones. Its pretty strong with the 17 Pro but has slight movement with the 17 Pro Max. 2. Magnet Strength - It is strong! I have a ESR clear case and I need to pry the phone away from this charger!! What I Like: * There are 2 USB-C Port on the 12v connection. It helps to have the passenger charge their phone too! * The nice LED light, very helpful in the night time to locate the charger to put the phone on! * Charges both 17 Pro and Pro Max without any hassle. What I dont like * Wish the USB-C cable was little longer. Now it is possible the price will go up because of that, understandable. But for some vehicles manufacturers start moving the cig lighter socket to different locations far from the AC vent!! Also because it is small, its not that easy to hide the wire! * The clip that you hook on with is sooo tight and handle is small! I understand this is the reason why the hold is strong and stable. But atleast the handle could be tad longer or fatter. I can see folks with weaker hands (like me) finding it difficult to put this on to the vent!

The best, most stable, easy to setup, and reliable phone holder I’ve used. Magnet is very strong. Works perfectly for my iPhone mag case and the phone doesn’t move at all once attached. Very stable.

There are more detailed reviews out there, but I'll just say as a regular person with an iPhone 14 pro using a Spigen touch armor case, this thing is perfect. It fast charges, it's extremely sturdy, and it has probably the best grip mechanism for a vent that I've ever used. If I could nitpick I think the move to make the charge pad a giant white circle looks bad, the magnet isn't as strong as my other magsafe stuff at home, and at $99 it's quite earpiece. Thai said though given how solid the product is I'm fine over looking those and still giving it 5/5 stars. I've had car charges for years and years but none of them have felt as sturdy as this. The sense of relief I get using this and not feeling like I need to baby it is worth every penny.

it is great so far, but the problem is legs that go into the vent.. it isnt secure and tight enough, and i dont know how could they solve it without being invasive.. and the other leg is just infunctional for me.. it is great that they made the back removable, so i will try to buy another leg or whatever it called(thirdparty). also bought it on sale, outside of sales it is too expensive

EDITED: Extremely overpriced for something that doesn’t actually work as advertised. Bought two and forgot to return them as I wanted to test them out and see how much better they’d be than just a plain MagSafe charger in the car and now I’m stuck with $200 worth of chargers that are barely worth $20. Why? These don’t actually charge any faster than an original Apple MagSafe charger. I have a 2 hour commute every week where my phone is usually between 20-30%. The original MagSafe charger attached to the phone tucked away using wireless CarPlay, Waze, and Apple Music would charge to about 95% by the time I reached my destination. This one? Same thing. Sometimes less. The cooling function IN THEORY should charge it faster but it doesn’t. End of story. I’ve tried everything but it honestly does not make any difference whatsoever. The phone only felt cooler because it mounts to a vent with ice cold air running to the back of it. Fan or not the phone would’ve been cold either way in that location. My other issues with it? -The vent clip and stabilizer jiggles way too much. The phone only stays somewhat secure because of the certified MagSafe charger’s magnets but even those aren’t as strong as Apple’s official charger. A huge bump though and I’m sure my phone would go flying. -it can ONLY be used at 9v/3a which seriously limits what type of chargers you can use with it. I’m not sure why that’s the only combination that can be used for it but it should have had other options for different ports/chargers/etc. You’re going to be forced to use either their provided charging plug or find one that has that very specific voltage/current specs. -the gaudy blue lights. I’m sure it’d look very cool to children but it looks terrible in an unassuming interior especially when you consider the dang charger included with it also has the same blue lights. -the design could have been simpler and there should have been more color options. It doesn’t look bad and the grey is a fairly neutral choice but in an interior that’s all black it sticks out way too much especially with the white magnet pads. I don’t know if that was an Apple requirement or not but I’ve seen other certified MagSafe chargers that didn’t have that. This could have been similar. TL;DR: Overall, I would not buy this. It’s extremely overpriced, it doesn’t actually work any better than a normal MagSafe charger from Apple, the mount leaves a lot to be desired and the design of it sticks out too much. Oh, and I forgot to mention the magnets are just okay. They don’t seem to stick quite as strong as the official Apple MagSafe charger for some reason despite having a certified one. Odd.

Installed on two vehicles and both chargers were not dependable on actually charging iPhones 13 Pro and 15 Pro. Used both the cigarette lighter and the USB-C connections as well as other cables, but could not get a consistent power charge out of both chargers. Be aware that this situation may affect whether you keep or return this type of charger - keep whatever contained in the manufacturer's box in case you might want to return this charger. Works sometimes and not other times is not what I describe as a recommended charger. ESR's customer service representative reached out to me about the problem I am having with the chargers. They offer to replace any defective chargers for free if I cannot rectify the problem with the unit not charging our iPone 15 Pro Max. One of the chargers works great and the other one I am still troubleshooting. Summary: Great customer service so far. Both chargers are working as supposed to now. Both daughter's indicated the chargers are working fine now and thanked me for getting these chargers for their cars. ESR's customer service is second to none and I will and have ordered other ESR products to great satisfaction thus far. Highly recommended.

Charging speeds were good, even playing Spotify and using GPS road maps. The iPhone ran cool under normal charging but did get slightly warm running music and GPS apps. In contrast my old charger the iPhone got hot. Since I did not mount near vent, the cooling fan was factor. Did not use standard vent install, used my last chargers cup mount. The ball sizes were the same, so easy install. The iPhone 15 Pro stayed lock to the mount in normal portrait mode was weaker in landscape mode.

クリップ式で固定するので小口の送風フィンにも取り付けられます。マグネットの強さも強すぎず取り外しも簡単です。運転中に落下するようなことはなさそうです。 通常のマグセーフカバーなら充電は問題なくできると思いますがスタンド機能等付いている少し厚めのカバーだとうまく充電出来ないので注意が必要かと思います。 実際スタンド機能付カバーを一度買って失敗しました。カバーの問題なのでこの商品自体は使い勝手がいいと思います。

Overall not bad, the charging is fantastic. The mount on the other side not that great, at least for my 2020 Ram 1500 Limited. Used my Previous ESR Vent Mount clam and it works great. Somehow a waste of money, for that Price there should be several mounting choices Overall the ESR Products are great at least for the iPhone, got two nightstand chargers, phone case and now two car mounts. Update Nov 26: Seller sent me a unit and ask to use the original mount, I did, unfortunately still it’s not as strong as the unpowered basic unit and my iPhone 14 max is shaking quite a bit
