This lock is great, I love that you can set it to automatically lock the door after a certain amount of time, the battery last forever in it as well. The door opening is very easy, I love not having to pull out a key each time I need to unlock the door, we paired it with the other door handles and locks from this company, and we have one key for everything now which is amazing. The value of this for the cost is definitely well worth it!

Easy to install with detailed directions. Quality parts that feel sturdy and reliable. Easy to program as well. I used to think Schlage was the top brand but this model was better in every way. Including price point.

This is my second one of these; far better than the Schlage 10 key locks, ,which cost much more. These work EVERY time?

Needed a way for cat sitters to get in the house without having to get them a physical key. This fit the bill. You can program up to 25 unique permanent codes (and 5 temporary ones). I was able to rekey to match my prior Kwikset deadbolt so I don't have to replace the physical keys that my family uses. Note that you should actually read the instructions for installation, as there are a couple of small nuances that differ from installing a traditional deadbolt (if you make assumptions you'll be unscrewing and doing over). Will see how durable the unit is over time, the casing does feel a bit flimsy. Also I purchased the color black and in my dimly lit entryway it is VERY difficult to see if the latch is in the closed position. Solved that by putting a bit of bright red electrical tape on the turn handle.

Good Product just did not fit my door

This lock is truly a peace of mind. It locks seamlessly & automatically & is already locked before i reach my driveway. I don't have to think twice, or turn around & come back because I didn't remember if I locked the door. Well made kwik set. Triple thumbs up.

I despise this lock, I truly detest it. I bought one from Lowe's and the installation went great, everything worked until I tried to turn on auto-lock, which requires pressing the number 9 as a step in the programming process. Guess which key on the pad doesn't work? That's right, as the Beatles said in the white album, Number Nine. So I think that's just a fluke and order 2 more from Amazon. All of the buttons on the keypad work, but neither of them will allow me to program an access code. Trust me, I'm not one of those people who don't read the instructions and post a one-star review like "it's facing the wrong direction" (but that was good for a laugh, I wonder if they searched for one with the proper orientation), I know what I'm doing and this thing is just too sensitive. To program it the bolt needs to be fully extended, like 1mm less and it won't initiate the process. Then there needs to be almost zero friction on the bolt to complete the programming, if it senses any resistance at all it won't save the access code. But unless there have been some seriously ground-breaking new developments in lubricant technology, achieving zero friction within a universe bound by Newtonian physics remains an impossibility.

Great product, easy to install and looks great. Easy to add new codes. Very well built of good quality materials.
