Timex x Mossy Oak Expedition Scout 43 Watch

Clear dial and easy to see time, second time i’ve bought this model, first one only lasted a couple of years before it began to lose time, about 1 minute per day. I hope this one lasts a lot longer.

I only got this watch because I lost my previous one. That was an 'Expedition' watch, so I searched for a similar one, but couldn't find it. The watch was a bit too large, and I don't think that it will be quite as good as the old one. Hopefully, it will be.

Bought this 21 December 2019, 16th February 2020 the winding/adjustment knob fell out. Amazon would not accept it for returns. I am currently trying to sort out a return through the manufacturers warranty. So much for the retailer being responsible for faulty goods. Not impressed with the service. Pity, I liked the watch, but can't recommend it on this experience.

This is a fab watch, but the Indiglo has just stopped working after just 6 months.

Although bought elsewhere this watch looks good and too early to talk about time reliability but indigo stopped working after 4 weeks so not impressed.

I like this watch. It arrived on time, with minimal packaging, but no damaged noted. I set the time easy. I had to smile that the date set allows for rolling the date backwards or fowards. The blue is more a matte blue, but at least it is not the dark blue that is almost indistinguishable from black that can be found in the product pictures. The clarity and and contrast is decent, however the Arabic numerals are distinct, nice and large got easy viewer. Of course, the Timex illumination feature is good, almost too good, almost washing out the face. I haven't tested the lume. tho i see the hands do exhibit the lume. The band is very supple and not stiff, possibly leading to a bit quicker wear and tear on the genuine leather band. The back of the case is marked stainless steel back. ( which makes me wonder what the rest of the watch is made of ? ). it is marked with the battery model needed, the watch model number, the WR (50M) and even the lug width of 20mm. That is handy info. the timex url website is also engraved. Center to the case back is the large Expdetion logo. Neat. Overall, i am pleased with the value and looks of the watch. Very comfortable watch. I hope it last years, so I can say.....I've had this XX years and it is still ticking after the beating it takes. I've seen some QA comments on the accuracy, the watch no longer working after a short time or (gasp) a hand has fallen off on reciept. I will report anything if i encounter. So far, it goes into my watch rotation.

Love the look. Love the strap. Love the indiglo, but it doesn't keep time! A quartz watch that losses 3 minutes in 8 hours!!! Keeps time fine in the watch box but as soon as you put it on? Forget about it. If I had bought it from a local shop I wouldn't hesitate to return it.

Seems to be good quality for $40, as of the first 12 hours it’s holding time nicely. Back light works well in low light and is used by holding the button in with opposite hand. I’m using this for Hunting. Some prefer watches with a built in a GPS and other features . Personally I prefer a tool with a specific use. I will use my GPS for navigating and the watch for timekeeping. Great for a quick glance if you like wearing a watch. Water rates to 50M. Would recommend.
