For anyone considering purchasing this item, I suggest purchasing the three-pack at the subscribe and save price. This option will be the cheapest for each individual container making it a worthy purchase. This sunscreen contains 21% zinc oxide, which is ideal for intense, direct and prolonged sun exposure. It is easy to spread to the face, including easy to spread to facial hair / a beard. The end result is a mild to moderate white cast, including to facial hair / a beard. The high concentration of zinc, the ease of spreading to the skin, and the mild to moderate white cast are the three top reasons why I would recommend this sunscreen. For any fellow bearded man considering purchasing this sunscreen - your beard's Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) is not high enough to protect against UVA radiation and photo damage. Most mineral sunscreens will leave a more noticeable white cast on a man's facial hair / a beard than on skin without facial hair. Some mineral sunscreens blend well into facial hair / a beard, and this sunscreen is one of them. I use a men's face wash to wash it off in the shower; then I use a towel to rub and remove the rest of it off. It is slightly more difficult to remove than some other comparable sunscreens; but I believe this sunscreen is still a good purchase.

Great sunscreen. Slightly white upon application but quickly absorbs and disappears. Stood the test of surfing in Costa Rica. Just buy it!

I bought this sunscreen to use for my face. This sunscreen does its job and is very affordable. The only thing is it has a slight weird scent to it. It also goes on white, so you have to rub it in pretty well. I wouldn’t like to use it on my body because it would be hard to rub it in all over such a big area, but that’s probably to be expected from a zinc oxide sunscreen. I didn’t really like using it when I wanted to put make up on because it felt heavy, so I ended up buying a different sunscreen for when I would wear make up, but for being bare faced, this sunscreen works great. You also get a lot of product for a great price.

Decent sunscreen, rubs on easily and kept me from burning. Don’t live the smell but it dissipates quickly.

Yes it's a very good product and it's reef safe which is the most important thing the reefs around the world are being destroyed with bug spray and sunscreen hard to believe but true

Lizzo and i share the same color and this did not leave a cast on me. Tip for people darker hue: rub it in really well a little at a time. It doesnt smell bad and its mineral..which is safer. 2 reasons for giving it 3 stars: 1. It stays on for a LONG time, which is good BUT i washed my face three times with soap and it was still on there! It felt greasy. 2. I find it very hard to believe that this is non-nano. Theres almost no white cast and nowhere on the actual product does it say it's non-nano which is way safer than nano zinc oxide. Although safer, the downside of non-nano is the white cast. I know of a few brands on amazon that are non-nano and clear but they are also very expensive (example Kokua Sun Care $30-$50). The other brands also have "non-nano zinc oxide" printed ON THE ACTUAL PRODUCT as an active ingredient on the back and not just on their amazon advertisement.

Awful. It works fine for avoiding sunburn and I loved that it was sea safe for the coral etc on our caribbean vacation. However, its SO sticky. I coated my entire body BEFORE putting on my swim suit, waited 30+ minutes for it to soak in and then put my suit on. I could barely pull my suit up! It was like stuck on the sunscreen and then it ruined my suit! My suit had clear residue from the sunscreen all over it. I was beyond embarrassed for our excursion. I even tried to wipe/wash it off in the ocean and it wouldn't come off. Had gross streaks all over my suit and each time I went to the restroom it got worse. Will never use this sunscreen again.

This is the first cream to cure my UV rash in 40 years. I have year round UV rashes on my hands, it is much worse in the summer. In one week my rash is almost gone. I have hyper sensitive skin.
