Quill On Spyrosity Explore Quilling Kit for Kids Ages 6+

My 9 year old granddaughter spent hours with this kit. She created some awesome designs! She loves it!

I got this for my 7 year old and it’s been a lot of fun for both of us! I was shocked by how fast the tool works to spin the quilling paper into a coil. It literally does it in probably one second flat or less. It is much more efficient than spinning the coils by hand. I love that the papers come with a sticky end that eliminates the need for glue and is much more kid friendly than dealing with glue. The only thing you have to watch out for is that you load the paper into the tool the right way so that it spins the paper in the correct direction so that the sticky end is down toward the quilled paper and not on the outer side away from the coil. It’s not hard to redo though if you don’t get it right the first time. The paper is the standard quilling paper size and the tool is a good bit larger than the traditional quilling tool but very manageable. We did have a little issue with the batteries being finicky in the tool and it needing a little hitting to get it going again but other than that it’s a good quality set. It’s nice that it comes with 100 papers in a variety of colors, a booklet with instructions and ideas of projects to make, as well as a card with different gauges of coil sizes so you can be precise with your measurements. I would recommend this product and it’s been a time saver!

My son had a little trouble at first. It can be a little fast until you figure out how to use it. Once you get a hang of it, your imagination is the limit! You can make an infinity of cool shapes, objects, art projects, etc. Really awesome gift!!!

This has a lot of cute project ideas. The main selling point here is the battery-powered slotted tool. Advantages: larger & easier to hold than standard slotted tools (great for kids, perhaps also helpful for arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc.?), also it grabs the paper & spins it into a tight coil in milliseconds -- simple projects like the ones they show here take mere minutes. It's insane. Super fast; too clunky for detail work though, but great for stuff like this! Use glue though -- the adhesive on the strips that are included is like a practical joke or something.

It was difficult to open the pen because the screw was already stripped. We eventually got it open but will likely only be able to use until new batteries are needed. 11 year old grand daughter you had a little trouble working it, but she said she liked it anyway.

I took up quilling a few weeks ago and just received this kit. It is marvelous for beginners. I love the Super Quiller. I am an occupational therapist and am always looking for easy instructional activities. I bought a second set for 2 of my young grandkids other grandmother and grandfather who will be watching them for 10 days and even though they are not old enough to actually do the quilling, their grandparents might be able to hold their attention by making enchanting projects. Well worth the cost.

One of the best activity product for my son (3.5 years old). He is very much addicted to mobile phone watching baby rhymes on youtube, playing games if not then atlest he wish to see movie on mobile phones. Was looking for something on amazon which will keep him engaged and also his creative ideas will get boost up. Happy to share that he liked it very much and he started loving quilling, which is very new to him. Advantage of this product is : 1. Quilling strips are with self adhesive, so we can just pull off the white paper from one end and can stick it to the completed coil. 2. Product design is attractive and very much handy for kids. 3. Ready made cards and instructions for which quilling strip to use for which portion of card was very helpful especially for me when me and my kid both were new to this quilling world. Overall very nice experience. One suggestion: Readymade idea cards can also be in actual shape of quilling portion, which can be used on canvas to add multiples in one place. E.g. Tree, duck, rabbit can be in their actual shape and later we can use them as actual shaped quilling card instead of all rectangular ones.👌👍👌
