This album is really in my top 5 of all time. Moderat is one of my favorites and they really outdid themselves on this one. If you've got a record player - opt for the vinyl. You won't regret it.

I don't really understand why there are no reviews on, probably, one of the best electronic album of the year. The guys are pretty fantastic! Only one cons is amount of the tracks, it could be more :)

Defected disk
The disc would jump songs, the disc was not flat :(

Ich war im Vorfeld schon eimal kurz geschockt, als ich von einer Sonderedition mit Instrumentaltracks las. Der Umkehrschluss war für mich, dass das neue Album mit sehr viel Gesang einhergeht. Als ich mich dann doch freute, war die Euphorie kurz vor Erscheinen groß. Ich bin musikverrückt und ihr Debut sowie der Nachfolger waren für mich die Alben des Jahres. Bein ersten Durchhören machte sich jedoch eine große Ernüchterung breit und ich war schon drauf und dran eine Rezension zu schreiben. MIch nervte dieser Radiohead-Vergleich, der natürlich nicht von der Band, sondern von Kritikern kam. Jedoch las ich schon vielfach den Tipp, dass man das Album öfter hören muss. Also gab ich ihm die Chance. Und von mal zu mal wurde es immer besser. Heute, viele Umdrehungen später, liebe ich es. Auch, wenn ein Song wie Milk mir extrem fehlt und die Vinylversion die Zusatztracks nicht beinahltet, bin ich im Frieden und freue mich über ein großartiges Album. Auf die einzelnen Tracks gehe ich nicht ein - ich rezensiere heute nur auf Gefühlsebene. Aber das ist es, was dieses Album ausmacht.
