Stable and easy adjustments
Great desktop studio arm. It handles my Shure SM7dB with the Shure MVX2U. Obviously you can't extend this all the way out otherwise it will tip.I love the solid feel of the mostly metal construction. The adjustment knobs are metal and hefty. Easy to adjust and it stays in place.Other note is that the slots for cable management only fits USB-C. If you go the XLR route, it won't go through - I would probably just keep tidy by using zip ties or those velcro strap things for cable management.

Sturdy, worth the money
So sturdy! Heavy! This thing isn’t messing around. I bought it to pair with the Rode mic and it’s a perfect combo. I know it will last. Heavy, sturdy metal base place. Holds the mic well. Adjust to any angle, great for the money.

Sturdy and Heavy GREAT quality!
The base is very sturdy and heavy, I was initially using it for my podmic but then switch it to my MV7+, just needed an adapter but it works beautifully because it allows me to stay “mobile” while being able to prop up my mic that I use mostly with a USB connection, highly recommended if you do not want to buy a full arm and have a high quality base for your microphone

Sturdy and Versatile Desktop Studio Arm
This arm is strong, smooth to adjust, and holds my gear securely. I love that it works for microphones, cameras, and even lights, making it super versatile. The compact design keeps my desk neat while giving me professional setup quality.
User
Good quality, heavy base
Works well. Heavy base. Supports the Rode NT1, no problems.

Good little desk stand
Great for lighter mics but with the rode NT1 & NT1-A, positioning is limited.

Fantastic Mic Stand! Small and Sturdy!
This mic stand is sturdy and flexible - something I wasn't expecting from something so compact. The stand also has enough weight at the bottom that it securely holds any mic. (I used a TLM 103.) I also love its sleek design. It's functional and looks nice on my desk. Very happy with this purchase!

Sturdy and stable
The RØDE DS2 Desktop Studio Arm is very well built and stable. It becomes unstable only if you move the microphone a long way off-centre (alway check the stability in any case) and that's because the microphone holder rises from one end of its reassuringly heavy base, rather than the middle. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the money if you want to mount a high quality microphone (I use it for the Røde NT1 5th Generation microphone). Recommended.

Great product comes with Bigger Cost Constraints
I highly recommend.. product quality is too good but only constraint is it’s too costly

Excellent solution for limited desk space!
I purchased the RØDE DS2 Desktop Studio Arm to use with my Rode PodMic USB, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. Due to limited desk space, I wasn't able to install a traditional boom arm, so the DS2 turned out to be the perfect alternative. The stand is extremely sturdy, with a heavy and well-balanced base that easily supports the weight of the PodMic USB without any wobbling or stability issues. The build quality is excellent, as expected from RØDE, and it keeps my microphone positioned exactly where I need it while maintaining a clean and professional-looking workspace. If you're looking for a compact, stable microphone mounting solution and don't have the space for a boom arm, I highly recommend the RØDE DS2.

Solid, well-built desk arm
Solid, well-made desk arm with a surprisingly heavy base that keeps it very stable. Took only a few minutes to set up and adjusting the arm is straightforward. My microphone stays exactly where I put it, with no movement once tightened. Clean design and feels like a quality product. Very happy with the purchase.
