we've updated our review- turns out it just needed to be cleaned
don't waste your money on this product as it has some design flaws. the bag does not work properly to catch all the debris and the sweeper kicks out the debris behind the bag. it takes going over areas multiple times to get any light debris to pick up. the sweeper works better in reverse but the bag kicks out the debris making it more work to use this sweeper. very disappointed with what we paid for this sweeper Aug 2025 and now the price is lower at 284. update to our review- we reviewed how we are using the sweeper and made a few adjustments to enhance the functionality of the sweeper. we adjusted the handles to make it nicer to use. we removed the top cover and located 9 months of accumulated dog hair and fine dirt that choked the motor assembly. we used an air compressor to clean out the motor area and we cleaned out the 2 filters. the motor now seems to be working better. we've come to realize we need to clean out that area more often and to be honest, we are really pleased to see how much of the dog hair and fine dirt is picked up by the sweeper. the bag still has some gaps between the bag and the sweeper but we can live with that until the manufacturer improves design. we want to give a 5 star review because the sweeper is doing what we need- picking up the dog hair and fine desert dirt. it was working better than we knew. lesson learned.

Don't buy this!
I thought using my blower was bad, holy cow! This thing is terrible. Do not buy! First off, it said delivery tomorrow, but it ended up taking two days. Forgivable, but not a great start. Assembly was easy. The motor is really loud. It didnt bother me too much but my 7 year old needed earmuffs to be comfortable around it. The extension cord kept falling out of the plug and turning the machine off. Not a huge deal, I tied a knot in the cord to fix that. I have fairly short turf and then very short turf on my putting green. At the most effective height it would pick up about half of the debris on the first pass. After 2-3 passes about 80% would get picked up. Doesn't get thing in corners, edges or where there are slopes. The absolute worst part is the bag. That thing is unforgivable. Any tiny bump will knock it off, kill the motor, and all the stuff it did manage to pick up will fall all over the ground. I used it one time and it happened atleast 4 times. Lastly, the moment I realized there was no chance I was keeping this thing is when the extension cord got tangled in the sweeper. I was just backing up sort of like a vaccume and in a second that thing got wrapped up probably 25 times around the brush. It took atleast 20 minutes to untangle that mess. Use a blower instead, dont waste your time and money on this thing!

Excellent to pick up leaves, seeds, & twigs from lawn
I rarely write reviews. We've had this machine for about a month & 1/2 & I wouldn't write a review until I tested it for awhile. We have artificial turf in the front & back yards. The back yard is about 40'x20' & the front yard is smaller. This machine was a life saver. In addition to leaves, palm trees drop seeds onto both front & back yards. They crush under your shoes & are difficult to remove from shoe tread (lime juice & vinegar works, but slowly). I read reviews before we bought. There were complaints that it quit after 1 or 2 times & that the chord gets tangled. 1. It takes about an hour to clear the front & back. That's NOT a long time. When I've tried to do it with a blower & rake, the time would double. 2. We've used it front & back about every two weeks. It has plenty of power & hasn't given us any trouble. 3. I posted a picture because some complained that the plug would pull out. Well, that's not the fault of the machine. We have a 50' extension & a 25' extension...necessary to cover the entire backyard. If you loop the extension chord around the green outside handles, you use up about 2' of the chord, BUT, it won't pull out. 4. Also, here's a tip. Flake out the extension chord with the part plugging into the machine on top (I used to rock climb & that's how you flake out a rope). Also, if the outlet is on one side of your yard (i.e. the side next to the house), start on that side. Otherwise, every time you turn to come back the other way, the chord will be in front of the machine. 5. Another tip. Although, the "bag" attachment that holds the leaves, etc. is large, you need to dump it several times before it's "full" because it will start to spill out. You can help somewhat by tilting the handle down to the ground (while you're stopped), so that the leaves will shift to the back of the attachment. Obviously, if your yard isn't level, then going downhill will spill some of the leaves sooner. 6. Another tip. You can see green attachments, 2 on each side of the handle. When putting this together, DON'T screw them in tight...leave them very loose. Then, you can spin them tighter. Otherwise, you won't be able to collapse the top part of the handle when you put it away. (This advice probably won't make sense until you actually put it together.) So why only 4 stars. First, I can't speak to those who said the machine wouldn't work a second time or only worked for 5 minutes. We had no problem. NOTE: there is a safety feature where you have to push & hold the side button in & then push the lever before it will start. Then you can release the side button & it should work as long as you keep the lever in. Also, I have 1 a pet peeve about instructions. The instructions consist of pictures & the order in which to use the pictures. However, I feel that when something has to be put together (especially if it's made outside the USA), instructions should 1) list & identify all the parts (which it did), 2) list exactly what tools are needed (which it didn't), & 3) someone who is native to the USA should write the instructions clearly (which it didn't).

Worked great for my turf soccer pitch!
I was considering a manual walk-behind sweeper before I got this, and boy am I glad I got the clean sweep. This is a small section of turf, 20ft x 30ft, infilled with sand (not rubber pellets). Itโs directly under a huge Coastal Live Oak tree, here in California. The pitch is constantly covered in the small but curved and pointy Live Oak leaves, small twigs, branches, acorns and acorn hats, pollen. This thing does a great job. Itโs not perfect, but for my application, definitely the best option out there. Usually only takes a single pass and viola! Itโs nearly pristine. I run mine on the second-from-top height setting, and it has I believe 2 more lower settings than that. Itโs so effective at picking everything up, that I have to empty the bag every couple passes, which is fine for me! I believe the review about debris falling back out may be due to not emptying the bag, or using too low of a setting. I have seen this issue when I forget to empty the bag. I was worried at the price point that it may be overkill for our small 600sq.ft. Space, but itโs perfect. It takes about 30mins but is so effective, I donโt need to do it very often. Iโm not sure how it would handle things like big maple leafs, pine needles, or rubber pellets. The unit is mostly plastic, so I donโt recommend storing the unit in sunlight. I bought a cheap, tiny $100 metal shed from Overstock.com or something. It should be noted that the brushes do not extend the full with of the wheels. They are not inset. It also canโt sweep about 1โ in from each side of the housing. So if you have turf directly up to a wall, there will be about a 3โ untouched section. For my soccer pitch, thereโs a border of dirt at least 6โ around 2 of the 4 sides, so I simply do another pass with the wheels in the dirt. The unit is also a bit loud. I keep a cheap pair of earmuffs on the handlebar. Also this is a corded unit, which is needed to get the power required, so a slight annoyance. If your turf area is like mine, and have similar needs, I highly recommend the CleanSwerp!

Only works on lawns, not on pavement or driveways
First impressions, used only once. This is all plastic, feels cheap. It's small too, feels like a toy. Does it work? I tried my paver stone driveway. Nope, not at all. Brush spins at lowest setting and no debris gets picked up into the bag. Mostly it is blow back over your shoes. It is self propelled. It's a lawnsweeper, so I tried it on my lawn. Worked perfectly. Picked up matted grass and blew it into bag. The bag is small. You will be emptying it A LOT. I'll probably keep it, if only to pull up the old grass left by previous landscapers. It could have been so much better.

Disappointing Experience โ Poor Instructions and Flimsy Collection Bag
I was really looking forward to using this product, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. First, the assembly instructions were poor to nonexistent. In the product video, the wheels come pre-attached, but mine arrived with the wheels separate and no guidance on how to install the rear wheels. This added unnecessary confusion right out of the box. Even more disappointingโon day one of using it, the collection bag ripped. I specifically chose this version for the collection bag feature, so this was a major letdown. For context, I had already raked and cleared the yard as a test run, so there was no heavy or sharp debrisโjust a light pass. The brush itself worked fine, but I could feel a lot of debris shooting out from the bottom of the bag, which defeats the purpose entirely. Overall, I wouldnโt recommend this product. Between the frustrating assembly process and the poor build quality of the collection bag, itโs just not worth the money.Disappointing Experience โ Poor Instructions and Flimsy Collection Bag I was really looking forward to using this product, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. Fake lawn sweeper
Just laid quite a big artificial lawn in my back garden as I have a big dog. The dog is always making a mess shredding my Amazon deliveries and the like but I also have a few fruit trees surrounding the fake lawn. As soon as I'd laid it it was covered with leaves fruit and the dogs mess. I bought this sweeper and no lie it's magic! Takes me about 5 - 10 minutes and the lawn is like new again. I do it once a week or when necessary so to stop build up of leaves. It's quite big and it's not very light but it propels it self forward with the powerful brush so it's easy to use. Will leave a small margin where the wheels are so I go over these with a leaf sucker. It's very powerful so I'm cautious about going right up to the edges as it can fray the grass a bit if you're not careful and make sure you don't sweep the cable as I've found out. It sucks it up in an instant and gets tangled in the brush - easily rectified by taking the brush out and uncoiling it... Bottom line. Along with a leaf sucker this is a must have if you have a large artificial lawn! well worth the money also seems robust and well made.

Cheaply made product
The device broke down after the third time it was used. Cheap plastic parts of gear mechanism at fault

Great product
This is like a vacuum for your turf. Doesnโt work with lots of leaves, but is really great for twigs and small things. I typically use my broom to get all the big stuff then use this to do the fine pick up and fluffing of the turf. The bristles do such a good job, it looks like the turf was freshly laid when youโre done. What would have taken many hours to do I can now knock off in about an hour.

Makes grass look great
Works good for what I wanted it for and grass looks really good. The instructions were very vague but it was easy enough to set up. Took a little while to get used to what setting to put it on but once you figure that out it works good. I have a large conifer tree in a neighbours tree that sheds all over my garden and it managed to pick up all the pieces as well as large crunchy leaves off another tree. All in all it works wonders on the grass but it is quite heavy to lift and if you tip it up slightly to get up a step all of the dirt falls out the back onto the floor.
