I used this LED bulb to upgrade from the original Xenon light bulb in the Mag-Lite 4 D-cell flashlight. I was a little skeptical because a lot of the LED bulb upgrades weren’t compatible with the Xenon bulbs. This LED fit easily & perfectly & works great! It’s much brighter & whiter than the Xenon bulb while retaining the beam adjustability.

Awesome bulbs, used them in my maglites! Have lasted a good while now after almost everyday use!

I recently got a warranty replacement Xenon 5D Maglite and wanted to do a full LED and 18650 Battery conversion. I 3D printed a battery conversion sleeve to use 18650 Lithium batteries and swapped out the light bulb for this one. It's bright for what it is, but not like the modern LED flashlights you can buy as a bargain at costco, so keep that in mind when doing a conversion and price of a new LED flashlight. I use my Long 5D Maglite for self-defense, so I don't mind spending the money. The Strobe feature is blinding and disorienting by just flicking the on/off button. The only negative is the light beam is kinda on the Yellow side, rather it be bright White, so minus a star for that.

Wish I have make the upgrade a long time ago! It's easy and worth every bit of it. Will upgrade my other mag lites with thi.

Bulbs made the flashlight much brighter than what came with it originally. You will not be disappointed.

I have an old incandescent Maglite from the early 1990s. The original bulb quit last week and a quick search on Amazon led me to this replacement bulb. Installation was under a minute and it breathed new life into this faithful tool. The quality of light output is exceptional and the beam focuses more tightly than my actual LED Maglite. Color temperature of the LED seems warmer (yellow) than most LED flashlights, but that’s a minor complaint. Would recommend anyone that owns a Maglite to install such a bulb.

Worked on my 3 D cell battery mag light. I had bought a LED bulb to replace the original bulb that came with the light and it was an improvement but I wasn’t satisfied really with the results. I mean it was better but not great. I thought I’d give this a try and boy am I glad I did. This LED upgrade was what I was shooting for. This was a major upgrade to my mag light. Take my advice and don’t go the cheap route and pay just a little more for this one and you will be glad you did !
