Outstanding box cutter and beer bottle opener at a great price!
This BECOWIN 7-In-1 Mutipurpose Utility Knife is an outstanding box cutter tool. It does not replace an EDC pocket folding knife. I needed a new box cutter to fit in my belt tool pouch holster that I use daily on the farm along with a Leatherman Surge multitool, Streamlight ProTac 2L flashlight, M-Tech folding "harvest" knife and a ring of barn/shop equipment keys. It replaced an old-school Stanley utility knife that I recently lost but did not fit into my belt tool pouch. This smaller and thinner utility knife is solid, well constructed and comes with extra blades. I like the blade slide mechanism for adjusting the length of the blade. Contrary to other reviewers, this utility knife fits nicely in the hand/ or with gloves and cuts easily through box tape and cardboard to flatten, opening safety sealed chemical bottles/containers, cutting zip ties and opening large pesticide/feed/seed bags etc. While it has 7-In-1 tools, the utility knife and beer bottle opener tools get the most use. Great price on Amazon at $10 for an outstanding box cutter and bottle opener tool. Great price and tool value which is hard to find now days. I use it every day on the farm and highly recommend it.

So much better than the cheap plastic ones
I have been doing a lot of house projects recently and have been using the cheap plastic break away knives that you can get in a pack at the big box store. The plastic ones are cheap for a reason, and I have never been very impressed with them, I have also broken several of them. I finally used up my last one a couple weeks ago, rather than getting more of the cheap ones I decided to see what Amazon had to offer. I saw many different knives but settled on this one mainly because of the all metal construction, but also because of the affordable price. This knife is definitely built to last for more than a few jobs, it has a nice heavy feel that makes it seem like a more premium knife. I love that it comes with a pack of blades. Now I won't have to buy any for awhile. This knife is advertised as more than a knife, and is claimed to be a 7 in 1 tool. The "wrench" portion of the handle seems like a nice touch and may come in handy in a pinch, but I feel like it's going to be more annoying to use than helpful. I also don't see any need for the glass punch, this isn't a knife I would carry for an EDC so I won't ever have a reason to use it. The only complaint I have with this knife is with the blade change, changing the blade is definitely easier on the plastic knives. Changing the blade on this is a bit more of a hassle, but that's also a good thing as you won't have the blade just fall out because the plastic tab broke. So while it is somewhat more of a hassle to change the blade I do like it from a safety stand point. Overall I like the design of the knife, it is definitely much better than the cheaper plastic ones, and you can't go wrong for the price. I would definitely recommend this if you're wanting to upgrade from the junk plastic ones that the big box stores carry.

Rugged utility knife.
Pretty cool utility knife for the price. I really like the rugged aluminum body. It has good lock-up with a screw-in locking knob. I guess the extra "tools" are cool. I dont expect I'll use them... although the screwdriver actually will make a handy staple remover. I dont see me using the bottle opener mainly because without a clip this will not likely be a regular carry tool. It will be a toolbox tool used as needed. Came with 10 extra blades so for $8, quality knife plus extra blades pretty good deal and quality.

uncomfortable
they need to ditch the bottle opener feature. It is right in the spot where you hold it, and it is rough on your fingers and hands after a short time. you really have to snug down the blade to keep it from sliding.

Definitely worth it
I love this knife. I thought I lost one, which I later found in my purse. But to replace it, I bought another. Itโs good and heavy and is excellent for doing things other than opening a box. I think you cut drywall with it all though thatโs not what I used it for. Top quality, great buy!
