Ok, so I really only needed the part the bar slides into, because my existing sliding latch gets out of alignment as my fairly large wooden gate swells and shrinks from rain and sun. The original catch is small and once the slide bar is out of alignment even the smallest degree, the latch is almost impossible to use. So I looked for something different. I found this and, although I will be using the bar part for another gate, it’s the catch section I I used on the fence, and now there is enough room for the original slide bar, even if it is pushed out of alignment. The set is a nice size, and weight, feels very sturdy.

Amazing latch for the money.... Looks and functions great. Only complaint is the screws are not magnetized like all coming from China. It is a pain constantly dropping them in the grass but got them installed and it look great.

Like the looks, doesn’t close dual doors tightly

There latches worked great for my goat stalls. They have enough “slop” in them so they still work very well if the gates shift (sag) over time. I had problems with other latched not lining up if the gates shifted even a little.

i have a rescue dog who could get out the locked gate. i installed this on the lower part of the gate and he hasn't been able to get out anymore. it could use a stopper at the end to keep from being wiggled open.

Cheap weak and flimsy. One hard storm and it got damaged
