These worked great for sanding my cane. Lasted a while to, but when it wears down it leaves a faint black mark. Just be careful you'll be alright.

Sands well, very convenient
I love this so much. It takes half a second to switch grits, it comes with a ton of sandpaper strips, they fit perfectly, and I end up using this more than my regular sanding block because it's so easy to hold, and it gets into smaller spaces and can be held at more angles. It's cheap enough that if you have a need for something like this and you're still unsure, just buy it.

Works well for small spaces.
It works wonderfully. I can get into all of the small areas of my work and sand them down to a smooth finish. I recommend to any wood crafter.
