KROFEM 46" Oversized Rattan Papasan Chair,Grey Frame with Black Cushion

The chair comes in a fairly small box - which is perfect for going up small sets of stairs/into small doorways. We only have 28 inches of space to get up our stairs and through the doorways. We didn't even need to bring the whole box up, we brought it up piece by piece and it was perfect. Assembly wasn't bad but a bit tricky -- you really need two people. One person to hold and the other to screw in the bolts. When you put the bolts in, only tighten to about halfway and then go around and use the wrench on one side, hex on the other, and screw it together. The other tip on assembly is on the diagram, it doesn't tell you which way the 360 spinner goes. We assumed RS went up as right side. The feet were already on the base. I think the directions could be clarified with more images and text but, you get the basic idea. Overall sturdiness is great! The metal feels solid and the wrap around it is nice. It rotates well but not so crazily that it's spinning constantly. I would recommend the oversized size for short-er/small-ish sized adults (I am 5'1" and I find it comfortable to get in and out of. Same with my husband, he's roughly 5'4"). I think if you're plus sized at this height, the chair might feel tight on your arms - I had a good amount of room to move but if you were a bit bigger, it might be uncomfortable. This chair probably wouldn't be great for someone taller just because the height of the chair base from the floor is super short (so it might be hard/awkward to get out of). The one BIG drawback is the cushion. The feeling of the fabric (kinda scratchy and noisy - more like an outdoor style fabric) of the cushion and the overall thickness of it. It is thick but not as dense as I would like it - you can clearly feel the support bars. I have no doubt I will need to put either foam between the cushion or buy another elsewhere. Overall, I will purchase a second one because my husband and I fight over sirting in this one 😂. It's like sitting in a hug. My dog, additionally, enjoys it and made for a cuter picture (he's 30 pounds, mini bernedoodle). I will wait until it goes on sale, though.

I have back and neck issues. I had a fusion done on L5-S1 and an old neck injury that was re-injured in a car accident when I was a passenger in a rear end collision. Finding a chair/seat I can sit in long enough to watch a movie has been a challenge. First a rocking chair then an ergonomic desk chair and all other sofa, loveseat, hard seats, soft seats, all gave me issues. Well then I visit my daughter and she had a new chair called a Papasan. I sat down in it and didn't want to get out of it. I decided then and there to get one. I scoured many places looking and found this one. It's Oversized at 44" and under $200! And it's very solid, easy to put together and so very comfortable. The cushion is indeed Plush, but I am going to be adding a little extra padding. The only issue I have is the chair showed a turn knob in one of the photos leading me to believe the tilt of the chair was adjustable but it is not. But it's not a deal breaker as it is at a perfect height with my flat screen TV and the chair is a perfect height for adding a comfy footstool or ottoman. I highly recommend and you can't beat the price considering the quality and stability of the chair and the swivel feature is also perfect! MY CHAIR! Okay, so I'll let my Grandsons sit in it when they visit, IF they treat it well. I'm 5' 6" tall and weigh 180. I believe the chair holds up to 440 lbs. What are you waiting for? Grab one before it goes up in price or sells out.

Quality overall is not bad.. ordered two of these for my house. Don't expect them to break any time soon, just wasn't what we were trying to get. Apparently it's difficult for someone to put together if you're not used to building things. I found it wasn't very hard, but we got no instructions with ours and my family struggled until I got home. Simple build for those who build stuff. My frustration was that there was a build. I got home to two big boxes for the 2 i bought, but knew the boxes weren't big enough for what I expected.i wasn't the one to order them, so can't bitch much. Was told we were getting wicker papasan chairs.. no chance a wicker built dome fit in box I had to open. Was expecting multiple boxes. Really it seems very sturdy, and probably a very good product. Can't lie, im not a fan, but wasn't what I was expecting, but also I didn't order them. Still have fully looked at the description. I was expecting a wicker set, lighter, not as sturdy, and bigger for shipping. These seem solid, but two chairs, packed separately and no building instructions in either box seems crazy. Plus recommend having the right tools, Tools provided will definitely put them together (assuming instructions are provided, which we got none). The tools provided are only for that though,as is with all things of this nature. Try to make it a simple build for anyone. To make it last, finish it with the proper tools, and make sure you have the instructions. Really very simple to do if you're used to it. Reality is when I was shown the item. No build was expected. Gonna put what we got now though he'll and review again later. In the meantime, looking far actual wicker stuff

This is our second set we’ve owned over the years. The first was actual rattan base and cage backing (bamboo type material). It eventually gave out as it was in a clear sunroom and the sun eventually beat it up. This one is solid metal with plastic webbing which also rotates nicely. So I doubt it will give out. The one complaint I read about, is the pillow isn’t thick enough and thus unit not as comfortable. I posit to say it’s not the pillow necessarily but the metal cage it rests upon. I took care of that by buying two pillows for $20 and issue solved. (pic above:) Btw the instructions are useless as it’s a diagram and not accurate as the (A) piece with two (B) pieces don’t fit to match edge to edge, top and bottom. (2nd pic above) One has to be marked (C) as we found out and had to redo it, so instead of ~15min it took twice as much. Nevertheless super jazzed to sit solidly & comfy with the two added pillows.

Padding is weak, looks fluffy but needs to be more dense to actually work. Overall happy wit the quality for price because the frame is very sturdy and seems like it will hold up over time.

Like the chair but the cushions not stuffed enough. Will be replacing it

Not worth the money. The pillow is really flat don't let the picture fool you. And when I tried to return it. The seller needed more, then what i paid for it. So im stuck with something I don't won't.
