Perfect Playpen for My Tiny Destruction Machine!
I really love this playpen! It was super easy to assemble and has plenty of space for my pocket bully pup. My puppy is a tiny destruction machine—she’s destroyed every playpen we’ve tried—but this one is perfect.I was a bit worried about using it on our hardwood floor, but with the reusable pee pad they recommend, it stays in place perfectly. That was my only concern before buying, and it worked like a charm. Now I can keep her contained while cleaning the house or putting groceries away without my little devil getting in the way. She’s happy, I’m happy, and the best part is I can even use it outdoors in the summer. Great product all around!

Sturdy product that can be used indoor or outdoor and enough space to fit my two small dogs, toilet and feeding area as well.

Great Design but Safety Concerns for Climbing Puppies
The pen was well-packaged, and very easy to assemble. It’s a great size for both indoor and outdoor use, and the flexible setup options worked well for our limited indoor space.Unfortunately, I had to remove two stars. One is due to the horizontal struts, our 15-week-old Mini Goldendoodle figured out within 20 minutes how to use them as a ladder and escape the 32-inch pen.The second star is for safety. On her next attempt, she got her leg stuck in one of the openings while climbing over the gate. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured, but it was very concerning. The product advertises size recommendations for each height, and our dog is well below the listed limit. We ended up modifying the setup into a more enclosed, crate-like space attached to her crate and secured all sections to prevent gaps. It’s smaller than we hoped, but it works for us.Overall, it’s a ok pen, not too sturdy, it would be much better without horizontal struts—they make escaping easier and can be unsafe.I’d only recommend it if you can closely supervise your pup or are sure they won’t climb.

Sturdy Construction, Easy to quickly put up and take down as needed
We have always crate trained our puppies. However before we brought the last two home, at 2 months old, my husband & I attended a dog product show at our local farmers market and a breeder of French Bulldogs was there and her puppies were confined in this pen. We thought this would be a great solution to secure our new puppies whenever we would need to leave them unattended, rather than in a crate. This product is built very well, folds away easily for storage when not in use, and keeps our puppies safe and prevents them from biting inappropriate objects, like our couch pillows or baseboards or cords plugged into an outlet. Very functional and large enough that we were able to place a large Bowser Donut Bed inside this crate with plenty of room to spare for them to play outside of that bed. Highly recommend this as an alternative to using a crate because every crate we previously purchased we had to give away due to lack of storage space. This crate easily folds up compactly making it easy to store for future use.If using this indoors on tile or wood floors I highly recommend also buying the FXW Floor protectors & muffler tubes to protect your floors from scratches & to muffle the noise from the crate when the dogs play and bang into it. We found it to be such a great alternate solution we bought a second one, sans mufflers & floor protectors to use outside in our yard so they could play in the sunshine & nice weather without having to worry about them getting out of our yard as they were still small enough to fit through the bars of our fence. We also recommend purchasing the carry straps and handle to secure the crate when folding it up for ease in carrying to store. All around excellent product. We still use this product to contain them when our pest control service is out every two months to treat the inside of our house so our puppies are not anywhere near the product being sprayed which is pet safe after it drys. Takes seconds to put up and take down afterward. Highly recommend all of these FXW superior products.

Not exactly flimsy, but...
I ordered this after my sun porch had to be taken down, leaving a 10 foot gap between my chain-link fencing and the corner of my house. I can only drive one of the stakes into the ground, at the corner post of the chain-link fencing, so the rest of the stakes do stick up quite a ways above the top line of this fence. I don't really like that, I would much prefer to have an option of length of the stakes, for those who are not planning to use it on grass or soft dirt. The reason I took off one star is because this fence is extremely lightweight. It's nice in the sense that it doesn't weigh a lot, but it is thin, and bordering on flimsy. If I had a large dog who pushed against or jumped on a fence, I would not be comfortable using this fence. The latch in particular is extremely flimsy feeling, and is very awkward to open one-handed. I'm also not entirely sure that I trust it to remain latched if a dog does bump up against it with any impact. For that reason, I made the gate open inward instead of outward so that if it were not tightly latched or if the latch let loose, the gate would have to be pulled open rather than opening outward at the slightest nudge. The step through is also quite high, I won't be using the gate very often for my 14-year-old dog, she would have a hard time hopping over that. Fortunately, I didn't buy it for the purpose of going in and out, I bought it to block off an opening. The fencing that I use when I go camping also has a step over, but it's a couple of inches lower than this one, and even that is awkward for my dog. I just mentioned it so people can be aware. It is advertised as being an indoor/outdoor fence. I'm not entirely convinced that it will stand up to winter, but maybe it will surprise me. In any event, it will work for the time being.
