Mesh arm shoulder sling
Just showered it's perfect for shoulder surgery and easy to put on and off. Very well made.

Amazing! Love it!
I purchased this mesh arm sling after a minor arm injury, and it has been very helpful for support and comfort during recovery. The breathable mesh material is lightweight and allows good airflow, which makes it more comfortable to wear for extended periods compared to thicker, padded slings. The sling is easy to adjust, and the strap allows for a secure fit that keeps the arm properly supported without feeling overly restrictive. I appreciated that it helped keep my arm in a stable position while still allowing some mobility when needed for daily tasks. The overall design is simple but functional. It’s easy to put on and take off by myself, and the hook-and-loop closure holds firmly without slipping. The material also feels soft against the skin and didn’t cause irritation even with frequent use. One thing to note is that while it works well for mild to moderate support, it may not provide enough rigidity for more serious injuries that require full immobilization. In those cases, a more structured medical brace may be necessary. Overall, this mesh arm sling is a comfortable, lightweight, and practical option for basic arm support during recovery. It’s especially useful for short-term injuries where breathability and ease of use are important.

Not your everyday sling, but a must-have for shower time
The Emergency Room sent me home with a sling after I broke my shoulder, with stern warnings to keep the shoulder still. That sling was loose -- at least one size too big -- and there was no way to get in and out of it myself. So I looked for alternatives. I ended up with a somewhat expensive sling for everyday use. I needed something that would hold everything as still as possible, and protect me from bumps. (For the first two weeks after my injury, going over a speed bump on neighborhood streets made me screech.) But this inexpensive mesh sling immediately became part of my survival kit. First, it's meant to go into the shower. Air and water can get through the holes, especially if you have a handheld shower head so you can spray under your sweaty armpit. It dries quickly, too. Also, it is far more adjustable than the other slings I used, and you don't need a caregiver to put it on. It's just one strap, and that strap opens up quite a ways. You can slide the strap all the way open, carefully put your arm into the mesh pocket, then duck your head through the strap. Best of all, you can slide it up and down without help. (And I got SO tired of having to ask for help.) This would not be my full-time sling, however. The mesh works great in the shower, but the fabric is a bit too scratchy to wear against the skin all day. I don't think it'd offer enough "keep things still" structure to immobilize the arm as you sleep, either. Still, it's an excellent price for something you need.

Good for a shower sling
Had shoulder surgery, and needed a sling for the shower. The one from the doctor is plush and would not work for showering if I planned to us afterwards. This made it possible to have my arm supported and be washed. The mesh on the sling makes rinsing off a simple process. It also hang dried without any issues. The strap does have to either go over the head or be refastened when taking on and off.
