Really happy with this for my cats
Iโve been adding this Grizzly Salmon Oil to my catsโ food, and itโs been working well. Itโs easy to pour and mixes in without any issues. My cats donโt mind the taste and eat their food like normal. Iโve noticed their fur looks softer and healthier, and they seem to enjoy their meals more. I like that itโs a simple, natural supplement and made for cats. Overall, Iโm happy with this product and would buy it again for my cats.

Cat loves it!
I have a large black cat and he has dry skin. It can be pretty visible due to dandruff on his black fur. I feed him dry food (DONT COME FOR ME, HE LIVES A GOOD LIFE AND ITS GOOD DRY FOOD). He started developing some extra dry skin on his back and even had some scabs. I took him to the vet and he was just diagnosed with dry skin or potential allergies. They recommended an expensive prescription bottle of omega oil to add to his food. I would do anything for my cat but I thought I would give this oil a try first before I invested in the prescription. A couple weeks later I am so glad I made that decision. Firstly, heโs obsessed with the oil and even waits for the squirt on his food before chowing down. Secondly I noticed a MASSIVE change in his coat. Iโve never see him shinier and heโs so soft! 10/10 recommend and Iโll be buying more

This product really, really works (keep it refrigerated)
About 2 months ago we adopted a lovely 6-year-old medium-haired cat from a private party. Suzy has adapted very well to her new home and is very sweet and well behaved. The first week or two we worked through the initial new-home issues with her occasional panics about new people, vacuuming, etc. She has been on a healthy diet she likes. So everything was fine after 2 weeks except the shedding was driving me crazy. Within about 3 weeks of adding a few drops of this salmon oil to her food, her shedding is about 1/4 what it was for the first several weeks! Her fur is so soft and silky now too. And less dander, less itching. It's unbelievable. I don't think the change has anything to do with seasons or weather, as she is an indoor cat and the AC temperature has been the same every day since she moved in (it's summer now). The only answer is the salmon oil. I am so grateful, as the heavy shedding was really, really bugging me (I was brushing her 2-4 times a day, with thick clumps of dry hair coming off her and fur constantly blowing around the house). HIGHLY recommend this product, will continue to order it - but it will probably last quite awhile, as only a few drops a day made a huge difference. My only issue is that the bottle doesn't have an expiration date (perhaps it was on the box, which was tossed). So I am going to ask the supplier. Be sure to check the box, in case the expiration or sell-by date is on it. And keep the bottle in the fridge.

Purchased this for kidney health
Our vet wanted me to try to get more Omegas in my cats diet. He has kidneys issues and we are hoping that adding Omegas will help his kidneys function better. I won't know if it's helping his kidneys until he has another blood test this summer so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I give this to all 5 of my cats and they love it! It has been 2 weeks and it has cleared up the kitty dander on my black cat. There is a very helpful review posted by Yarri July 2014 this gives Omega content per bottle size that was supplied via email from Grizzly. Update 1/21/15 I changed my rating from 5 to 4 stars only because it didn't take very long for my cat's to get tired of it. After using it for about 2 weeks my cats started getting fussy about their wet food. As soon as I stopped giving them the Salmon oil, they went back to their normal eating habits. I'm glad I only bought the small bottle.

My cats LOVE IT!!!
My cat recently had a case of acute pancreatitis, and I started feeding her tuna and all kinds of โjunkโ cat food just to entice her to eat. So, after 15 years of refusing to eat any kind of canned food, she suddenly decided thatโs all she would eat, well after the pancreatitis was alleviated. Of course, since SHE was eating canned food, my other cat started feeling entitled, as well, so both were eating that instead of and/or in addition to their usual Royal Canin prescription diet. They both had allergic reactions. It was a fairly simple fix for my boy cat, because he was still okay with the dry food, but my older cat had developed a preference for ONLY the very tasty seafood canned food. So I knew I was going to have to try to just treat her allergies so she would continue to eat. I came across this stuff and it has been a Godsend! I havenโt even seen what it can do for their allergies yet, but squirting this on my catsโ food has now attracted my cat BACK to her old prescription dry food! That, in and of itself, will clear up her allergy problems! Iโm sure her patches of missing fur will soon begin to grow back, as well! So, we are all happy!

contains rosemary, so not good for cats but ok for dogs
Product description on this page does not disclose that this product contains rosemary (used as a natural preservative). Unfortunately (in my experience), most cats do not like rosemary. Additionally, there is some controversy whether rosemary is even safe for cats to ingest as cat biology cannot handle most plant essential oils safely. Dogs should have no problem with this (same salmon oil is sold for both dogs and cats, just different packaging), but I would look elsewhere if you have cats. Amazon customer service processed a return credit for me on this item with no issues - one of the reasons I like shopping here so much! Thanks Amazon!!!

I guess they changed the formula?
I've been buying this for a couple years now and my Boston Terrier and Sphynx have always loved it. The most recent bottle I purchased looked different from my previous bottle, but I didn't worry too much since I know packaging changes from time to time. My pets eat a raw diet and I add it to their food at mealtime. My non-picky cat refused to eat his food with this in it for 2 days! So 2 days of raw food was wasted because of this product. I gave him his food this evening without the oil in it and he gobbled it up like crazy. Of course it can't be returned. Maybe I got a bad batch? I can't smell that it's "off" but I trust my cat's senses. Now I'm leery of buying another bottle. Mine says best before 5/16/25 with 1E as the lot no.

Worked really well for relieving my dog's allergies
My pug suffers from horrible seasonal allergies. Last year he spent most of the summer wearing the dreaded cone of shame because he would gnaw at his paws until they were raw and bleeding. Even then he would drag his paws across the floor in an attempt to get some relief. It was heartbreaking to watch. I've tried visits to the vet, Benadryl, hot spot lotion, various shampoos, and soaks, but nothing worked. I was ready to try putting him on prescription medication when I heard about Grizzly Salmon Oil for treating allergies. I ordered a small bottle just to give it a try, put one pump in his food once a day, and by day 4 I noticed he was already less itchy. I've been following the same routine for over a month now and he's back to being a happy pup. Yes, like other reviewers have mentioned, his mouth always smells a tiny bit fishy now. But I manage it by cleaning his face right after he eats and you really can't smell it unless he goes in for a kiss. Plus it's absolutely worth it if it means he doesn't have to be miserable every spring and summer. Great product - I will definitely be buying it again!

Great product and lasts for months and months!
I bought this oil for my cat who has dermatitis and flea allergy. I've managed to keep the house flea free but his skin is still not great, it seems dry and uncomfortable for him. I wanted a product that I could add to his food to hopefully improve his skin and fur. I used about one pump in his food 4 times a week at first then went down to one pump a week after a couple of months. Got to say, his skin and fur visibly changed after a week, two weeks or so. His coat seemed shinier, thicker and smoother and his skin seemed less scratchy and wasn't constantly scratching and biting himself which is all I wanted really. The surprise for me is that it made him more playful after each pump of oil. He's three and a grumpy git and normally doesn't like to play but he's been acting like himself as a kitten, especially the days that I give him the oil. Very bazaar but definately a positive! The bottle has just ran out today (mid August gust) , I bought this in November last year. Not bad going. Will be buying again, it's made my cat noticeable happier and healthier.

Good for older cats
My twelve year old cat loves this stuff. The first week I started adding it to her meals, her fur and activity improved a great deal. She seems livelier and happier, so I will stick with it.

Grizzley Salmon Oil for Cats
I have two cats aged 11 and 15ยฝ. They needed something to help with their coat and general condition. I had tried an oil once before but when put on their food, they refused to eat. With the Grizzly Salmon Oil, they love it and eat it on their food every day. I am really pleased with the product and did read a lot of reviews about the oil before purchasing. I would recommend this product. My cats do seem to have improved fur since taking the supplement. They are certainly full of energy. Thank you.
