SO AMAZING!! Ive been using this for years as a goth foundation and its literally perfect!! Only one coat needed, non patchy, and VERY easily applied!! One stick lasted me over a year of once a week makeup looks! Id recommend a good semi-transparent white setting powder to go with it or its a bit greasy and easy to come off

I was really impressed with this oil-based face paint stick! The coverage is fantastic — it goes on incredibly smooth and blends out so easily without looking streaky. The pigment is rich and deep, so I didn’t have to layer it over and over to get the color payoff I wanted. Because it’s oil-based, it can transfer to clothes pretty easily, especially before it sets. I used a light setting powder on top and that made a huge difference. Once set, I hardly noticed and transferring. My little 5 year old Elphaba from Wicked was the cutest!

I've always used Ben Nye or mehron. I can't stand water based makeups because I sweat too much!! but couldn't find this color in the grease/cream brands I'm used to :( I'm sooooo happy I tried this out. Ive been wearing it all day and testing it's endurance. I applied with a beauty blender sponge and set it with just some plain ole baby powder and some drug store setting spray. I found that I couldn't really apply eye shadow over the cream if I had already powdered that area. I was trying so hard I ended up creating weak spots in the makeup from the brush. So for the other eye I applied the eye shadow directly to the wet cream and it's been staying VERY well. To test it out, I sat in my car and baked until I felt sweat beading on my lip and forehead. I went inside for a "touch up" and honestly just dabbing it with napkins? It looked fine. Only if you're really looking could you tell that there was some weak spots from the dabbing. I wanted to see how it would look after repair, so I rubbed it off, reapplied, reset, and it looks great!! Then I had some messy greasy leftovers for lunch. Held up ok to eating! It's not quite got the same endurance as Ben Nye, and I DEFINITELY would not put this on my body... it's starting to flake a little bit around my mouth, but for the price I think it's well worth giving it a try as an alternative for facial make up :) I will definitely be keeping this little stick!

This face paint is okay overall, but it requires some planning to get the best results. It applies a bit greasy at first and tends to rub off on clothing or other surfaces. However, after wearing it for a few hours, it does begin to settle into the skin. If you are going to use this, I recommend applying it hours before you plan to be in costume. Layer it slowly over time for a richer, more lasting finish. That approach made a noticeable difference. The good news is that it washes out of clothing, and while it took two long showers to fully remove from skin, there were no breakouts — even on sensitive skin. That is a big plus. The paint is affordable, and it works if you have time to build it up and set it. I’m still undecided on whether I would purchase it again or try a different costume makeup brand next time, but it does the job if used with care.

I bought this to compliment my Oompa Loompa costume, and it was perfect! Very creamy, easy to apply. Covered my face and neck, with no irritation to my skin. It removed easily as well.

Four stars because THIS WILL TRANSFER AND SMUDGE if you do not use a setting powder or other powder to minimize. However, as a product itself—this is what I wish all my lipglosses and chapsticks were consistency wise. We bought this for Kpop Demon Hunter-inspired face paint, and it glides on so smooth and the color is very vibrant and buildable. I also appreciated the size of the tube, as I could keep it in my pocket or purse for any needed touchups. On a whim, I used a setting powder the second time my 7yo wore his costume (hence the smudging, kids will slide down a hill face-first in full glam if you let them), and was shocked that it worked. Note: with the setting powder in the mix, this was hard to wash off with regular makeup remover pads, and required a more thorough face-cleaning. But it seemed good for sensitive skin, and doesn't smell like anything, making it very good all around.

Perfect for what I needed - you can make them light or layer them for a bold colour :)

An excellent oil based face paint for adults. This is really good for making skulls for Halloween, and can be layered for deeper pigmentation/ shadow effects. The setting powder is brilliant and means your design will stay put. Paint texture is creamy and easy to apply, absolutely brilliant for large area/ base colours. Be aware you will need patience and a good make up remover to take your face off!!!

These are totally worth the money! I have sensitive skin so can't wear most make up or face paints but these didn't irritate my face at all! Excellent coverage and stayed on the whole night even though I was sweating 😅 It took a little while to get it off but is necessary because it will stain everything if you don't. I'm going to purchase some other colours too for next years Hallowe'en. 🎃

coverage is amazing! i've seen the coverage on darker complexions and its crazy how great the quality is! the only bad thing is that it doesn't settle no matter how much setting powder or spray you put on. don't get it on clothes (it STAINS) and don't touch your face throughout the time you've got it on. i have really oily skin and even if i've got my skincare to contain my skin and grippy primer, it will still melt around my eyes and forehead. just a heads up to my oily bats 🖤

A really good face paint for Halloween make up. I've used a fair few face paints for Halloween make up over the years and found the oil based is the better for pigmentation. This brand in particular I've used previously and was extremely pleased with the results . It didn't disappoint with this two pack of black and white either . I tried to just use the paints and applicators provided in the pack with just the addition of a coupe of fine liner brushes . Having two make up sponges / applicators makes it an all encompassing set in my opinion. I love the addition of the translucent setting powder in this pack too as in my opinion it really is necessary. It didn't cause greying of the black in my experience either . I would suggest having a separate applicator pad one for each colour to avoid accidentally blending the two colours . The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because the bottom of the white stick had fallen off ( see photos) it didn't effect the use it though . What I like about this brand is the quantity you get and in an easy twist up applicator tube . You really do get good value for you money at £16.99 at time of review . It may seem a lot but it's a complete kit you don't have to buy any extras like the make up sponges or translucent setting powder .
