Just what I needed for foot care. The smallest things become strangely challenging with age. I can see since my cataracts were removed, but am limited by the fixed focal length of the implanted lenses. Complicating matters I still must wear bifocals to get satisfactory close vision & sharp distant vision -- everything in life really is a compromise. Since my spine has lost a lot of flexibility, it's increasingly difficult to bend over for foot care & stiffer hips & knees don't help. The combined effects of limited joint & back mobility mean I can barely get my eyes close enough to my feet for adequate foot care. And even if could, I can't focus on my toenails. Aarrrgh! And the downside of neglected foot care or botched nail care are pretty terrible. This marvelous device solves that problem. Unlike the magnifiers on headbands which are used for close up work (needlework, electronics, etc.), this large stable magnifier rests on a flat surface & can be any distance from the user's face. The lens is situated about 4" above whatever h@s to be magnified. There's room to sneak a hand or tool in too. The light is bright. It folds up easily into a compact flat package & comes with a soft fabric storage bag. It's lightweight & would pack easily into a suitcase or briefcase. It runs in 3 AAA batteries which I prefer over the cheap USB cords that get lost & crummy lithium batteries which don't hold a charge. The Fresnel lens employed may be unfamiliar to some but this one is very high quality (the best I've seen) & no doubt was chosen as the best solution to achieve high quality optics at an affordable price with a lightweight plastic lens. It serves the purpose well. I shared this info with my MD because I'm sure she has other senior patients who need this. No more expensive trips to the podiatrist for me.

I bought this to help me see the news print on crossword puzzles on the weekend when the puzzles are larger and the print is much smaller. I love it. It works as advertised. It is easy to use and easy to put together. The screen has clarity and gives me the flexibility that I need. It provides good lighting so that I can work on the puzzles anywhere. Since it stands alone on a sturdy stand, I don't have to try to hold anything while I am writing, It is very, very comfortable to use. I am in my 80's with no major vision problems aside those related to getting older. I would highly recommend this product.

I believe this magnifier works really great and a perfect size. It's fully adjustable which is a nice treat! Only downfall I see is that it takes batteries and not charged via USB.

The VIEWABLE lens space is 4.25" x 7" which, for studying textbooks is not practical. The lens is supposed to be high quality, but it's like any page-size bendable magnifier : it has concentric rings, which can distort the outer edges of your field of view. The frame is very flimsy and you have to 'click' it a LOT to get it into some usable position. By then, you wonder if the 'clicking' over and over will easily wear down. The sides don't move in tandem; you have to keep moving one side then the other to keep them level with each other. Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). I had to put them in/out several times before the lights would even turn on. A short 'pop' to the on/off button will work, but HOLDING the on/off will NOT work. There are 3 light levels and the brightest is quite bright. I like the 3rd one - the blue light. It provides illumination but is easy on my eyes. I'll use it because I bought it and I can't find anything wrong with it. But it's disappointingly cheap and doesn't magnify entire pages of my textbooks as I need (and I've tried hanging it from the top of the book, etc.). Since I also do artwork - and some of it is quite fine and up close - I can see using this as a hands-free magnifier for artwork. Again, it's not great quality because it's not glass. I'll find a use for it.

On 5/9/24, my MagniPros LED Page Magnifier arrived (Item #1820+ST, gray). It was packaged fine and there was a nice trifold instruction sheet in the box that included warranty information. Once I installed my own 3 AAA batteries, I found the lights worked as described online. The magnifier and the stand, even together, are lightweight, yet sturdy. The legs of the stand have some kind of material on them that seems to provide a little bit of grip. I’ve been reading at the table, and I find the magnification to be better than I expected. It has that common swirled/etched look on one side, while the other side is smooth. I like using the 3 stages of lights. I haven’t decided on a favorite “stage” yet. The legs and the magnifier can easily be adjusted for better clarity. I had some glare from an overhead light, so I turned on the unit’s light and angled it differently. Using magnifiers depends on your tasks. I think the use of the lights is that way, too. Example 1, I have done cross-stitch in the past and I liked to use the visor-type head magnifier. I also used a jeweler’s loupe held in place by my eyelid muscles for really close work. But for reading, this Magni-Pros is fine. Example 2: I picked up a can from my pantry and realized I had let it expire. So I took the Magni-Pros over to the pantry, switched on the bright light and went through all the cans, reading the date through the magnification and writing the “x” date on the cans more prominently. It was great. I am really glad I ordered it with the stand. I like the benefit of hands-free reading. The magnifier does slide smoothly out of the stand, but I haven’t used it that way. I took a chance when I placed the order, but I am very pleased with the product and the delivery. Thank you.

Very satisfied with the magnifier. I recommended for those that have trouble reading very small print. Finally I am able to read the inf in the back of my medical & credit cards.Oh how upset I used to get trying to read this. Easy to slide off the stand. Magnifier comes with light ( you would need (3 AAA) batteries. It also came with a small cloth storage bag

This product is great for those of us who struggle to read very small print. I have even put the magnifier up to the computer screen to read the small print. You can take it off of the stand or leave it on the stand. Great product! I highly recommend if you struggle with reading the fine print or small print in general. Very happy with this magnifier.

I have severe visual imparement and this help me to read and is very useful as you can use ithands free for reading or doing craft work or crosswords, or you can slide out the magnifyer anbd hold it for closer work. also a good size

Ce n'est pas en verre mais en plastique. Cher et de mauvaise qualité. Structure en plastique trop léger, pas suffisamment solide. Le renvoi a été compliqué car mauvaise étiquette reçue. Nombreux échanges avec le vendeur pour enfin recevoir la bonne étiquette. Attention car il faut encore faire une démarche en bout de course pour obtenir le remboursement.
