Easy install and good quality
Perfect size for my cat, it swings open very easily and was easily to install! Impressed with the template for cut out…. Very nice! Hopefully my cat gets used to it as it’s different from the home made one we had!

Works great, especially for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Works great, especially for the price! I got this for $9.99, as a solution for my cat who likes to go down into our unfinished basement to explore. I don't like having to keep the door to the basement open all the time because it lets cold air in, etc. With this solution, I can keep the main door closed, but my cat can come and go freely. I am grateful to the other reviewer who mentioned the magnet issue. Mine came with two little magnets, but they were not secured, so they popped out all the time. Thanks to that reviewer, I knew to be alert to this, and I determined that the cat door has two little compartments for the magnets: one on the bottom of the door flap, and one in the frame. You need one magnet in each, oriented so they attract toward each other, so that the door will flap down and stay centered in the frame between uses. However, you need to secure the magnets in their compartments, as otherwise they are strong enough that they will pull each other out. I ended up using super glue to secure them into their compartments (again confirming the correct orientation first!) and it works great now.Interestingly, the back of this door frame has no function. It attaches with its own separate screws, and has no role in the door function. I guess they figure it just looks better than having a sawed hole in the door on that side. But fyi, even if your door is thicker than the suggested door width, the door will still work, because all of the function is contained in the front panel.Interestingly, my door was within the suggested width (it's 5/8" wide -- see photo showing door width), yet there is a gap between the front frame and back frame where you can see the sawed hole of the door. Not a big deal at all. It's because there's no tunnel on this door-- just the front panel and back panel.I definitely recommend for the price point!

Solved our problem
TLDR: Doors work great in a window for my 9 cats, the locks work about as well as scotch tape on a piece of cardboard.Let me start by saying I have 9 cats ranging in age from 9 years to 1 year old and weights from a heckin' chonker of 15 lbs to a pack of paper towels weight more at 5 lbs . When we moved into our new home we put our cats litter boxes on our enclosed porch off the living room. We them wanted to use the window in the living room to come and go as they pleased. This was fine during the warmer months but when it started to get cold we needed a way to keep the cooler air from the porch from coming inside but also still allow the cats access (it's heated out there but not as warm as the main part of the house). So, we bought 2 of these doors and used the cardboard that they came in to frame them in the window.*Sidenote: If you're someone who appreciates a good cardboard box, the cardboard these were delivered in was amazing. It's about a quarter inch thick and sturdy as hell. I love it. A piece of plywood would probably work better but I didn't have that.As I said, I have 9 cats, some of them caught on to it super fast and had no issues going through the doors at all. For the ones that were convinced the doors were an obvious death trap set by satan himself to snatch feline souls we propped the doors open for a few days and lowered it slightly day by day after we confirmed almost everyone was going through the wide open door. We only had 1 cat that, even using that approach, was still convinced the doors were Satan's crafty was of attempting to snatch her tiny kitty soul. For her we had to remove the magnet from one door, put her favorite canned food on the opposite side of the door, swing the door a few times so she could see it wasn't the devils guillotine, and the only way to get the food she so desperately pined for was to suck it up and just plow on through. It worked. After that it took her a few more trips through the door after watching one of the others go through and come out on the other side, alive with their soul still intact, and she's a pro at it now.The lock on these doors are pretty much useless. My father in law is allergic to cats and I'm pretty sure they can tell. So, when he comes over we wanted a way to be able to deny their access while he was here. It took all of 2 minutes for one of my cats to figure out if she pushed hard enough she could force her way in. She promptly went back out and held an instructional /demonstration meeting for everyone else so now they all know how to get through the door if it's "locked". We just take the doors out and close the window if we need to keep them out there for any reason. All in all, I love these doors.

Works well for what I use it for
The media could not be loaded. My use may be a little unconventional BUT I installed this pet door into a window fitted alas of wood and in fact put it in my window so that my cat could come and go with lesser disturbances for me (he used to cry and cry and the door at all hours and drive me nuts) problem solved! Now my cat is pretty fat (and spoiled if you couldn’t tell) so I had to get the largest option which the size was perfect. However if you were using this for a dog I think that the largest dog breed that could fit through the largest door option would be like a “larger” smaller dog breed (terriers, weenie dog, King Charles spaniel, and all varieties of chihuahua) For me it was easy to install but depending on your experience it could be harder for you to do. As for the quality and design for the door. Yikes. I’ve had this doggie door installed for almost two years and let me tell you it has fallen apart. The locks on both sides were busted out within the first year from the wind and use of my CAT. I emphasize that because I think I dog could do more damage than a cat. The magnets are ok but when wind is over 20mph the door will flap open. I have this pet door going out into a pet inclosure outside. So if you need a dependable lock this one is not for you. This was the cheapest pet door I could find and for what I needed it does as intended so overall I’m content

Who let the cat out.
Makes letting my cat in & out so easy. She can come and go as she pleases. I mounted this in a special window piece I made instead of the door option. It takes her into her outdoor catio. My only issue is the magnet on the bottom of the swinging door. It fell out the first day and is nowhere to be found.
