I don't review everything I purchase, but I'm motivated to write about Paul Sellers's dvd on Using and Sharpening Essential Woodworking Hand Tools. First, the standard is impeccable - he really knows what he's talking about. Second, his demonstrations are clear, sympathetic, well-paced and well-captured. By sympathetic I mean that he seems to understand instinctively what an inexperienced woodworker needs to be told. He can look at what he is doing through a novice's eyes, even though he could undoubtedly do it all on automatic pilot. I thoroughly recommend this dvd.
