Doesn't repel spiders
Maybe it's just me but I thought Cedar was supposed to repels spiders. It clearly doesn't. I mean, I found a spider sitting literally an inch above this thing. Does it work? I'm sure it does for moths and whatnot. I have a cedar chest that has no spiders in it that I've had there for years. No bugs. But, just placing these around the places where bugs go doesn't do much. They can just go around them anyway.

I don't notice a scent, even after sanding. Don't recommend.

Tiny sticks.
Tiny little sticks. I don’t know what I was thinking, all the measurements are right there. They are so small that the bag they come in is that lightweight nearly cellophane material. They don’t even merit a robust shipping bag. I was hoping for something a little bigger. Can’t tell if they have a cedar smell or not. Disappointed.

Read a thing that said fleas don’t like the smell of cedar and after putting a couple of pieces around my apartment I haven’t seen a flea since

Cedar blocks for odor
I had a box of hallmark ornaments, still in their original boxes. It was left in a house of smokers. Opened them all up, placed a cedar block in each. Then put the remaining cedar blocks in the large container, closed the lid. Let them sit for almost a month. None of the ornaments have the nicotine smell anymore.
