More expensive than the brushes that I initially bought for my (revived, since retirement) model building hobby - but they are worth the price. Paint (specifically acrylic) is absorbed and distributed far more evenly than the cheaper brushes. No loss of bristles and they take a fair bit of punishment - so last much longer than the cheaper brushes. Thus, ultimately, better value and less frustration from streaked application.

I’m just starting out on my painting adventures and this size was recommended for a project I will try out. Not yet used but it complements my collection of brushes, feels good o hold and I can see that it will make very fine details.

Unfortunately this brush came with the tips of the hairs bent in an angle so that it cannot form a point. It's either a used (and abused) item or a defective one bought cheaply and sold for increased profits. In any case I will be returning this item shortly.Edit: I initiated a refund and was offered a replacement which I accepted. The replacement arrived today, but I won't have the chance to take it in hand until tomorrow. So far, that's excellent. Thank you to W&N.Edit 2: I finally had the time to look at the replacement brush (though not paint with it). This time it looks fine, no bent hairs and it seems capable of holding a point. Increasing rating to five stars for excellent service.

Uso este pincel con acuarelas y es muy bonito y cómodo de usar, sin duda esta marca es una de mis favoritas porque retienen buena cantidad de agua y deja trazos bien pintados, hasta ahora ha sido muy duradero y siempre lo guardo con su tapa de plástico protectora que trae, al menos aquí lo vi a mejor precio que en las tiendas de arte locales, si lo recomiendo para comprar si es que quieres pinceles más finos pero que duran más.

I purchased 3 sizes and all work as intended and I am happy with the watercolour results.Sadly, one arrived snapped in two but was this was quickly rectified by Amazon who instantly refunded. Excellent customer service was received. Thanks Amazon team!!
