Longevity is not as good as my previous ones

These will work for my son until we can get more bands from the orthodontist but we are having to throw away half of them. The bands are very inconsistent. The edges look wavy instead of smooth, like they could rip through at any moment and many of them have actual cracks in them that go 1/4 to 1/2 way through the band. It’s a pain to have to inspect every band before inserting or packing in his backpack for the day but I suppose it’s temporary and I can’t seem to find many other brands available for single pack purchase.

Let me preface my review by saying that I don't have braces. Instead, I use these for my Rx sunglasses. A tiny piece on one of the arms by the lenses fell off and wouldn't stay glued on. This caused that arm to be too loose to keep my glasses secure on my face. I took them to my doctor and they used rubber bands just like these to fill the gap. Now my glasses sit perfectly. The rubber bands are flexible and small enough to allow me to fold my glasses back up to store in the case. Aside from it actually working for me, they're so inexpensive and plentiful that it's no problem when the bands break. I just put a couple more in place and I'm good to go again. I bought the 1/4" size.

THESE SUCK!! If you need them for something other than orthodontic needs then GREAT, other than that they do not stay! The only stayed on my top hooks but consistently pop off the bottom hooks. Had to go back to the ones my orthodontist provides

The elastics are quite flimsy and tend to break easily compared to other brands i’ve tried before. Delivered earlier than expected though
