This pump, tubing and air stone set is terrific! Works GREAT!
I wanted an air pump and air stones for my pond.My pond consists of a partially buried 350 gallon stock tank, with a 20 gallon lined whiskey barrel waterfall, and a 55 gallon bio-filter.I mounted the air pump up high under my elevated deck, which is behind my pond. I made a shelf for the pump, drilled holes in that shelf for the electrical cord and tubing to route downwards. I also drilled additional holes under the pump for added ventilation. I placed a plastic shoe storage box upside down over the pump. I used four screws as "legs" to give the pump an added gap for ventilation while still giving it optimum protection from the elements. The hoses that are included are very nice quality. I ran these two hoses inside of 1/2" drip irrigation line and routed that parallel to the intake and outlet pipes for the bio-filter and buried all of the pipes. Running the air hoses inside of the drip irrigation line keeps the air hoses from getting pinched. For my specific need I then attached this drip irrigation line to a barbed fitting and that attached to 1/2" PVC pipe. I ran that pipe through the side of the stock tank through a 1/2" uniseal. The result is that the tubing is nice and safe inside of the drip irrigation line. It is buried. It is all HIDDEN.The pump is pretty quiet. It's not noticeable where I have it placed up under my deck. It's about 6 feet above the ground. The waterfall and my other water feature in the yard drown out any air pump sound. The pump puts out a decent amount of bubbles. My stock tank pond is two feet deep and the air stones are resting on the bottom. It's a good amount of aeration for this size of pond.I don't think that I would be impressed with this pump for a larger pond. This is really a large aquarium air pump. It's not going to do much for a large pond. For my purposes, which is about 375-400 gallons of total water volume, it is a perfect pump.If you have a BIG pond, you probably would be disappointed in this pump's performance. I doubt that it would produce much air if the air stones were in water more than two feet deep.Oh yeah, I thought I should mention that I ran this pump and air stones as a test BEFORE I installed it. There is NO difference in airflow after I installed it in the drip irrigation line and buried it. I thought some of you might think the performance was affected by my installation. It was not affected at all.To sum up: I am happy. I have a small pond. If you have a pond of 600+ gallons you would probably want to go with a more powerful set up. If your pond is in the thousands of gallons range then this pump would be very inadequate.I am 100% satisfied with this pump for MY size pond. When the pump dies I might replace it with this same one. We shall see. So far, so good...

“Five Stars for the Product, Ten for the Service”
I bought the Aquascape Pond Air 2 kit last October. It recently stopped working, so I reached out under warranty expecting maybe a small part or some troubleshooting advice. To my surprise, they sent me a whole new kit — no hassle, no back and forth. That kind of support is rare these days. The system itself works great, and now I have peace of mind knowing Aquascape stands behind their products. I’ll be sticking with them for all my pond needs going forward.

It worked great for us!
The media could not be loaded. I live in Texas and we rarely get snow, ice, etc…, but we did last week. I was afraid my pond would freeze over and kill my fish. My pond pump was making a noise like it needed water but I couldn’t because all the hoses were disconnected. I bought this aerator to keep the water bubbling just in case. It was so easy to install! It functions well and super durable as you see in the video! The cords are long so I was able to put the aerator pump inside an outdoor storage bin, which worked well. The power cord could be just a bit longer, but I added an extension cord to plug it into an outside wall. All in all, a good purchase!

Broke after a week
After a week of regular use and proper install, one of the diaphragm braces snapped off. Could be glued back into places but the glue residue on the piece tells me it was glued from the factory. Still works, but has a very loud vibration now, and that resonates into the pond. My fish don't like that. Worked great until it broke after 7 days almost exactly.

*Updated June 2023* All Good Things Must Come to and End After 6 +years
This pump is doing a very good job of keeping two decent-size holes open in the ice over our pond, which is about 12 feet wide by 20 feet long and holds roughly 3500 gallons. How large the hole is depends on how cold it is. This picture, taken today during Blizzard Jonas, shows the open areas on an otherwise ice- and snow-covered pond. These holes should be sufficient for the purpose of keeping the water oxygenated for the fish and other life in the pond. The little wood house to the left is the shelter my husband made for the pump. We've had it only a couple of months, so I can't speak to the durability of it. But so far it's doing exactly what we need.**As of March 5, 2017, still very satisfied. We kept it running for a good part of the winter and no problems.*** As of January 5 2018, continued smooth operation. We are in the middle of the East coast frigid weather and this unit is keeping our pond open and our fish alive (albeit the hole is a little smaller, but a large hole isn't needed).****As of April 2019 - all is well. Occasionally the bubblers seems to get a little clogged with algae, but they bounce back readily with a couple of gentle smacks.*****As of February 2021, a month of harsh weather and multiple snow storms, the pump is pumping and keeping the pond aerated as before. I wish everything was this durable! Note: The pump itself is sheltered from the elements in a little wooden box. That I think would be essential for any outdoor setup.******As of January 29, 2022, the pump keeps pumping. I ended up running it full time (it uses very little electricity) this past year for my fish. It just keeps going. A small hole has developed in one of the tubes. It's not a problem so I haven't bother to fix it by cutting that section out.******As of June 2023, it hasn't been working well for a few months. One port isn't putting air out at all. The other, only a weak stream. Customer service suggest I get a replacement diaphragm which costs half the amount of a brand new one. That seems foolish. I may but a brand new one again, haven't decided. Overall, I can't complain, considering the modest price and the fact that it lasted through six winters outside (in its little wooden shelter). Thank you little pump for keeping the fishies and their friends oxygenated.

Great addition to Koi pond!
My fish love these! After these were installed our fish became even more active. The pond is also clearer and has benefited greatly from the increased air circulation and movement of water.
