A very good value!
I thought I would try these because stick prices from the name brand vendors are way too high. I have been very happy with them! They are made of very hard wood. They are nice and straight and well balanced. Their finish is not as polished as the name brands, but my hands are very dry and a more tactile finish is actually helpful to me. I rarely break sticks, it's usually the tips that wear out, so it's yet to be proven how long they will last. But if the tips hold out well, I will definitely be buying more. They were a great value!

Holding up so far
Been using 7A nylon tip sticks since the late 60s. Since theses are made of hickory, they should last quite well.

Great quality for the price
Great value drumsticks with solid durability and feel. The hickory wood provides excellent balance, while the nylon tips deliver a bright, clear tone. Perfect for different styles and practice sessions. Reliable quality, especially for the price.

Affordable and high quality drumsticks by ProMark -LA Specials Drumsticks made by Pro Mark
These high quality drumsticks are made by ProMark a leading manufacturer in professional line of drumsticks. These are made of Hickory, a dense wood that can take the โ beatingโ ( pun intended!). A three pack of sticks averages out to under $7.50 a pair! I play an acoustic kit and play a wide variety of music on a regular basis. No complaints, give these sticks a try!

Great practice sticks!

Meh
Cheaper than Vicโs, etc, but not built for โheavy lifting.โ They shred from the shaft early on, and they will split. I play 22 sets a week. These are more for weekend players and students

Best drumsticks I ever had in 20 years. Should have bought this much sooner!!
First of all, I'm a pro drummer and sound engineer. I work 6-7 shows a week. I've had all kinds of sticks, but hadn't bought some in awhile. I play with a very laidback grip, all the way to the back; studied Weckl's Evolution DVD as well Todd Sucherman's extensively regarding the use of rebound, plus many years of military rudimental technique. Studied in college, went to several clinics, the whole shebang... you get it. Quite simply put, those are the best sticks I have ever tried for how my hands have developed after 20 years and how I play now - which is different for everyone of course. "LA special" is a GREAT name : Those are made for a laid-back, LA backbeat type of technique. There is a LOT of rebound, more so than just about other stick I ever tried in my life, so if you use Moeller technique at all (picking up with the wrist up motion between every hit), those are NOT for you. However, if you grip way back on 'em sticks and hit hard and solidly whip your snare every 2's and 4's, they are for you. Those are 5B's, which should fit most drummers. In my experience, diameter is overrated. Anyone with human-sized fingers can play from 7A to a little above that. Balance point - which on those sticks, is lower than most - is most important for where you grip (just below it is ideal, but not more than twice your grip fingers width I'd reckon). This is perfect for me. They are light medium-ish in weight; I haven't weighed them. I guess it's on the specs. I hit drums with those things. I don't care that the finish isn't even. The logo is looking really good. Most importantly tho, they *sound* really good. Real hardwood, harder than most. Give me an almost nylon tip sound in my cymbal - I finally get THE ride sound I always coveted. Very very crispm, brighten up a dark cymbal, helps cutting through a rock band if you have jazz cymbals because you're a snob like me. On top of ALL that, they cost like one third of any other pair or something. No more worrying about running out of sticks. The only thing I don't like is the absence of Promark logo. Those are EXCELLENT sticks. They should be proud.

It felt comfortable while playing. All three pairs have different weight. Excellent for edrums with mesh heads..

Ottimo prodotto
Con la punta rivestita in plastica, anche se la sensazione al battito รจ ovviamente differente da bacchette con punte in legno, ho risolto il problema della scheggiatura delle punte che mi costringeva a frequenti sostituzioni delle stesse.
