Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm 10ml

I have been using The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm for a little while now, and it’s quickly become part of my daily routine. The texture is smooth and comfortable on the lips, and I really like that it’s non-tingling. It gives a subtle plumping effect without any irritation, which makes it ideal for everyday use. The hydration is one of the standout points for me. My lips tend to get dry and cracked, especially in colder weather, and this balm keeps them feeling soft and nourished for hours. Being fragrance-free is another big plus, as it feels gentle and suitable even for sensitive skin. In terms of appearance, it gives a natural, healthy finish rather than a sticky or overly glossy look. The tube is simple and practical, easy to carry around and use on the go. A little goes a long way, so the 10ml size lasts longer than expected.

Bought this out of curiosity. I understand the science behind hyaluronic acid, I'm an avid lipgloss user, and I've had lip filler. If you're buying this for permanently plumper lips, I can assure you this gloss isn't going to give you the results you're seeking. If you want visibly plumper lips longer term, save your money, stop messing around with plumping glosses and get lip filler! As for this gloss... It's a gimmick. Here's why: it isn't hydrating, if anything it's drying. Admittedly, this could just be me - not everyone's skin enjoys hyaluronic acid. The smell is oily and the taste is giving plastic. It is an unscented product which is 100% why. Although this doesn't bother me, if you're less tolerant of smells or after a gloss with a pleasant taste, this isn't for you. Unlike other plumping glosses, there isn't any tingle so you can't feel it doing anything but you also don't get the pink irritated pout either. Pros and cons. As for consistency, it's a nice thick gloss that isn't sticky. Although, for some reason, mine started getting gritty nearing the end of the tube... I noticed the biggest difference in my lips (softness and plumpness) if I put this gloss on over night - although shortlived. Hense why they recommend applying consistently a minimum of 3 times a day... Overall, it's a "meh" from me. I can live without it. A plumping gloss I enjoy is Soap & Glory Pillow Plump - although it's slightly sticky and has the tingle, it actually plumps your lips, makes them feel hydrated, smells nice and doesn't taste awful (temporarily).

Excellent lip balm – genuinely does increase lip fullness, especially if slept with on overnight. A friend even asked if I’d had filler! Subtle colour is nice and I’d say pretty universal, although doesn’t last long. Overall great lip balm that looks good and cares for your lips.

Really nice formula, very hydrating for the lips. A nice one to use before lipstick/gloss. Only taking of a star as sometimes you can get little per ally grain inside it, with can be quite uncomfortable. This is one I repurchase a lot.

I really love this product but I prefer the clear one to the coloured versions. I’m not sure on the plumping quality but I like how it feels and looks. It’s a great product to pop on before lip pencil or lipstick.

Awful! Gritty and does not plump

Consistent use a couple of times a day and there is a distinct difference. My lips are much softer and do look plumper! I use this as an everyday balm and the coloured ones if I am going out. It is more of a thick gloss than a regular balm but looks great on and gives a lovely shine and enhances your lips natural colour.

Der Farbton des Lippenbalsams gefällt mir echt gut und ist auch alltagstauglich. Wirke etwas lebendiger ;-) Allerdings plumt hier nichts, auch nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum. Ich denke, da gibt es bessere Optionen.
