Haikyu!!, Vol. 19

Wow this part of the Shiratorizawa v Karasuno match was just as good as the previous. What was amazing with this volume was the continued focus on the cover character, Kei Tsukishima and his evolution as a blocker. Tendo, Ushiwaka, Kawanishi, and Goshiki continued to be power foes whom the Karasuno's needed to rise against and they do so marvelously in the 2nd set of this volume. The Shiratorizawa's also deserved commendation with the impressive angled shot from miracle man Goshiki and also an amazing block from miracle man Tendo. Ushiwaka felt a bit powered down this volume, however, that only served to give us more of a focus on the other characters.Furudate continued to do an epic job keeping volleyball interesting. Surprising blocks, shots, and mistakes from all involved and speedy moments through the rallies made this even more of a page turner than usual. The continued evolution of Tsukishima and Hinata's relationship and rivalry continued to be pleasant and honestly feels more wholesome and entertaining than Hinata and Kageyama. To me, Kageyama feels like he has remained the same since the start of the series. It feels like he has no where to grow which has made him feel unchanged compared to everyone else. I do wonder if he will have additional growth later in the manga.Bonus content included a special contest with quotes and page spreads/cover pages, sketches, and a bonus story with Fukurodani's. My favorite of the bonuses was Rocketman Goshiki being one of the sketches, lol.

Came quickly and was great quality and condition. Slowly building my collection of haikyuu!

I bought volumes 18,19, and 20 for my best friend as shes trying to read and collect all volumes of the manga. I got these for her for Christmas and while she hasn't received them, I looked through this one just to make sure there was no damage and surprisingly there wasn't!!

The vol.19 arrived in an excellent condition. No complaints

Tsukki is one of my favourite characters so I had to buy this volume. Came just as expected, a little damaging around the top right corner and the bottom spine but didn't expect too much because it was being mailed to me after all. No regrets, I would've preferred having bought it in person but all the bookstores where I'm from didn't carry it.
