Simplicity US8505A Women's Vintage 1970s Ankle-Length Caftan Sewing Pattern, Sizes 10-20

Nice sewing pattern, but the most important part was that the shipper packaged it properly. The pattern arrived with no bends, no wrinkles, and no damage!

I tried finding this pattern at my local store, but they were all out of stock. The price was good on this one, comparable to the stores. I made this for my mom, and she just loved it. The pattern itself was just as promised, all the instructions, pieces, etc. I would say there are a few things I would change about the pattern if I made it again, but overall, it was good.

Instructions are well written and easy to follow. The resulting garment is comfortable and practical. I made this pattern about 20 years ago, and now I plan to use it again to replace that garment.

Love this! I was gifted a piece of fabric that had to become a cafton. This pattern is super easy and versatile. I have already made one of each. The second one is awaiting trim. I used a piece of fabric that has been around so long I can't remember where it came from for that one

This caftan is a beautiful shape. I made the wide caftan in a flowing material. It turned out to be a total winner of a garment.
