I have owned multiple varieties of these quick connect/disconnect devices. Generally they are not compatible with others, even those that appear to be the exact same, and they tend to fail/leak after a month or two of use. I bought these because I was tired of getting wet and they looked more heavy duty/substantial than the others I previously purchased. Up to this point I have not been disappointed. The initial set I installed was a little challenging, compared to other brands, due to a tighter fit. However, once attached that first set worked flawlessly so I installed the rest and they have been easy to use with no leaks to date. While a little more expensive, up to this point it has been worth the additional cost and I recommend them AND unless something changes will not hesitate to buy again!

I liked the ease of these going on the garden hose and water spigot. Leak proof? Nah, do tend to drip a little. Nothing horrendous and the teflon tape is nice but useless where one may drip a little. With four connects there is enough to go around for more than one application. Wondering about the rubber o-rings on the male quick connect side. It is exposed to the weather and probably will crack with time. How long they last is anyone's guess right now. Be nice if one could order just these to replace cracked or worn seals.

I like them because they do fit very well and they don't leak. But getting them apart is a whole Nother story. I'm an older gentleman and it's difficult to pull them apart. Quality product just too difficult to get them separated.

8-22-24 Updated Review: Just wanted to add to my original review. This seller provided excellent support 10 months after my purchase. I just used the last connector when I added another garden hose. The set screw came loose and I asked the seller if the could send a replacement screw. The same day, they responded, and told me that they were sending a whole replacement connector, and it was sent the very next day. I could not have asked for more. By the way, after 10 months of hard use (I'm an avid gardener) the connectors don't leak and work great. I've used many quick connects over the years and these are my favorites. No leaks, easy on and off, and you can't beat the value on these.

Perfect for what I need, I live In a condo with a garage below, so i had to add a T with the washer line and then have a hose run Down to the garage. Adding the quick connects made it much easier to hook up and store away the hose when not in use. Would suggest the grooves on the coupling be horizontal rather than vertical, would make for better grip specially when wet, but still not a bad design, or if maybe add a groove or notch around them for grip. Second, just use better quality hose gaskets, look at the width of the coupling to gasket, in found That it would shift and leave a small enough gap for not a perfect seal. lol, for the life of me could not get it stop leaking figure out the rubber washers would it. Or a bunch of Teflon tape lol.
