Foreground Blindness
Clockable so that’s great. Good light, good cutoff, they get as hot as halogens. But the hotspot is right in front of your nose, even when the cutoff was adjusted correctly. Not great for a bike, where you want the light a little further from your eyes.

Defective
For some reason both headlights become foggy after a few weeks of use, possibly from off gassing or moisture. Exchanged the first pair, and the second set did the exact same thing. Unfortunately I am beyond the return date.

Not worth the install effort or the money.
The build quality actually seems decent, but the installation experience is frustrating and I can see why many people end up returning this product. The bulb is significantly thicker than a standard H4 bulb head. It technically fits, but in most cases you may need to cut the reflector bowl out of the headlight. On my 2012 Honda Fit, I didn’t have to remove the bowl because the reflector bowl housing is hollow, but that won’t be the case for everyone. I did have to trim the dust boot quite a bit. I removed the headlights entirely to make sure everything was properly seated. The removable “ears” initially made me think trimming wouldn’t be necessary, but the projector heads simply don’t fit through the dust boot opening. The ears are threaded at the top to adjust height, but the design is flawed: threading them in starts to unseat the top ear, which is mounted on plastic, making the adjustment impractical. The only real advantage of the independent ears is that you can level the cutoff fairly easily. Unfortunately, the beam pattern is very poor. There’s a strong hotspot about 20 degrees below the low-beam cutoff, which makes it feel like a bright fog light rather than a proper headlight. Very little usable light goes where it’s actually needed. The areas near the cutoff on both sides get almost no light. On the positive side, the cutoff itself is extremely defined. arguably sharper than some OEM HID projectors, but that doesn’t compensate for the uneven light distribution. Ideally, you want more light near the cutoff and less of a concentrated hotspot. High beam output is very bright, but much of the light is aimed too high. While it does throw light forward in the general direction you’d expect, a lot of it ends up in the wrong places. Aimed at the clouds instead of the trees and road. Overall, between the difficult installation and disappointing beam pattern, this product just isn’t worth the effort. 2 stars. 1 for good quality and another for ease of leveling the cut off.
