Scientist Dr. Henry Jekyll believes every human has two minds: one good and one evil. He develops a potion to separate them from each other. Soon, his evil mind takes over, and Dr. Jekyll becomes a hideous fiend known as Mr. Hyde. These reader-favorite tiles are now updated for enhanced Common Core State Standards support, including discussion and writing prompts developed by a Common Core expert, an expanded introduction, bolded glossary words and dynamic new covers. Review: Easy to read - Bought this for my 14yr old daughter who had it set as a school text Her views: Explained more what happened in Jeykll and Hyde. Clear pictures Good for preparing for an exam Review: Schoolbook, no substance - The story is ok, and the artwork is better than expected, but the book too small and the story too short. I expected a book but received a school booklet (A5) with questions and answers at the back. It's one of those books that if you would have seen it in a bookshop you would not have bought it. It's just what it should have said clearly, a schoolbook. You can read it in 20 minutes and then answer the questions. If you do need it, shop round for a second-hand copy.

Storyline is Not Accurate
I liked the illustrations, and the language is easier to understand, but the author has changed some of the events in the original, so it is not an accurate representation of the book. I hoped it would help my daughter, who is studying the book for GCSE, but I think it is more likely to confuse her.

Great Graphic adaptation
This is the third copy of this Graphic Novel that I have in the school library as it is so popular and well used. Does your teen struggle with English Classics? "Boring" "Don't like reading" this Graphic Novel will grab their attention. With all the important text this makes a good resource for those that may have trouble accessing the original text. This is also a good resource for English as additional language students

Classic literature via graphic novel
We are new to Carl Bowen, but we became huge fans by the second page. This is another great graphic novel from a classic piece of literature. Lovers of books and reluctant readers alike will enjoy this brilliant graphic novel of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Good & Interesting
This review would have 5 stars if the story stuck closer to the original. I love the discussion questions. I wish there was a teachers' edition with tesy questons.
