This is a very small red light therapy belt, but it does what it needs to. It comes with two Velcro belts, a plastic protective sleeve, the power adapter and controller, and a small pouch that is used to hold an external charger (for on the go I guess). It' pretty standard as far as how to use it, plug it in, pick a light setting and the time. It doesn't have blue or purple lights like some of the other red light appliances, but I usually only use the red lights anyway. I tried it on my elbow, it was pretty sore from lifting rocks in the backyard. it helped it heal faster. But I was blown away when I felt the itch and tingle of a cold sore coming on. I took my usual lysine, but I could feel the cold sore starting to erupt. I turned on the red light, put it against my mouth for about 20 minutes. Amazing, the next day it was just slightly tingling, no cold sore. I put it on again for 20 minutes and the itch and tingle went away. I'm now sold on the use of red light therapy.
