Effective at picking up dust in small area. Good for use on blinds.

If you are an engineer, or have the mind of an engineer, are very patient, and strong, you will be able to assemble this vacuum attachment. Otherwise, like many reviewers here, you will assume it doesn't fit together. It is not easy to explain the first part where you attach the black part to the tube part as the line up is important and there are no markings to match. But then you must use brute force to slide it down till you get the "click". I had to use two hands while I held the black tube between my knees. You will be leery of breaking it, but if you do, trust me that you haven't lost anything worthwhile. Next comes the fitting on my vacuum. I had to manually sort of tuck the blue rubber sides inside my attachment hole, but finally got it in. Next came testing. I turned my handheld vacuum on and tested the different suction levels by sliding the clear plastic slider up and down the tubes. I couldn't tell difference in suction, only the ease of sliding over whatever surface I was vacuuming. HOWEVER the clear plastic slider continually kept sliding back to the base unless I held it in position I wanted. So that was of little use. Then as others mentioned, only the fine dust particles went thru the tubes and any hair, little bugs or particles bigger than a Micron stuck to the ends of the tubes and required pulling off. So if what you are vacuuming has a lot of this debris, it would probably take you less time to empty it, wipe clean then put objects back in. The only use I would find worthwhile is keyboard cleaning. And a cloth or can of air would be a lot easier. All in all, even at this low cost, I find the dust attachment more trouble than it's worth. Your vacuum brush attachment would suffice for most applications. Not buying this vacuum dust attachment would save you a lot of angst, profanity, frustration and even possibly tears. It would be more trouble than it's worth to return so I'll just toss it in bag with other vacuum attachments for that rare occasion when I conclude this would be my last choice for some failed effort in vacuuming! Or maybe I'll just toss it in the bin!

LOVE this product!!!! Just one complaint though ... the universal adapter is beginning to split / tear at one end and I've only had this product a little over a month ... !!! Can a new one be sent or do I have to buy the 'Clear Flex Tape" from another infomercial to fix this item from an infomercial??? Please advise!!!!

Regular vacuum attachments won’t do it?

I am a big cleaner and this was a birthday gift this year. I loved this the first time I used it, it worked very well and made it easy to dust the popcorn ceilings in our home. When I went to use it again, the piece that they give you to attach it to your vacuum tore in half. It is a somewhat stretch tube thing that is supposed to stretch enough to go over your vacuum hose. We have since wrapped it in electrical tape and it works ok-ish, you kind of have to hold it on now which sucks. I think if they improved this part it would be a much better product.

Although the idea is good this does not do what it claims. Picks up little to nothing in the tight spots it was designed for. It may pick up dust but that's about all.

It is junk! Very hard to put together, take apart, it's too long making it clumsy, awkward and difficult to use thus you may not be able to do all you want to. Plus, the suction tubes seem too small and don't pick up the dust on everything. A brush worked better on my keyboard, pleated lampshade and other items

I too normally look at reviews before purchasing and can't believe I didn't see all the negative reviews. Got the item in 2 days - But only the item in the box which looked like it had already been opened by someone else. No Instruction sheet like you would expect a new product to come with and no "adjusting ring" like you see in the photos. I figured the blue rubber tube was attached to the wrong end of the handle when confronted with the straw bit not fitting the handle. Not entirely what I was expecting and after using it for the first time, it only appears to be of very limited use. Suction isn't that great and the straws are pretty sturdy. Of course they'd have to be because any less pliable would collapse under the suction of many vacuums. Like another reviewer says, stick with your own vacuums attachments, (dust brush) and if you need to dust, do it the hard way like you've been doing all along. You'll get better results and still have your investment in your pocket.

Works excellent. I use it for cleaning out my car vents. It gets right in there. Also it fits perfectly on my shop vac!!!!

I don’t even want to give this one star! Absolutely no good. Used it once. Not very affective at all. Suck power was no better than normal vacuum pipe. And after one use it stopped working. Think the ends pushed back and was no longer sucking through all tips. Do NOT buy. Can’t even be bothered returning. As long as I help others to make a good choice and keep scrolling I’ll be satisfied with that.

When I bought the dust daddy is said it was fit Any Vacuum cleaner. I have a Dyson and the doesn't fit at all Even with the adapter.I had to Tape it to the vacuum cleaner so it would stay on.Then the Dirt got into the straw and I couldn't get It out.If I kept the Box it came in I woulda sent it back.D'attachement it comes with the vacuum cleaner does a good job.So this is not a good product for me

Not standard size , waste of money without exact measurements. Useless suction. Couldn’t give it away. I’m an experienced cleaner.
